Chit Chat Thread - November ADRs...

Anyone ever wonder if scout stopped searching for you?! Lol. I haven't had a notice in a week! I have 4 searches going right now. Mainly to tweak times.....and one for Minnie's with fantasmic (prob going to give up hope on that one!!)

I never got any scout alerts. I got alerts from the other 2 sites I used.

We have BOG at 5:25 on our party night.......probably won't get to see the dwarfs, but I hope we will be done in time to do most other things. I thought 5:25 would be early enough, but it looks like we should have booked4:30 instead.

Why do you think you will miss the dwarfs? The party doesn't technically start until 7 and you will be done with dinner by then, right?

I would highly recommend Reservation Watch. I have gotten alerts off them so much.. Mostly I'm not quick enough but I have picked up a few that I have alerts on for on 3 different sites and this one is the only one that seems to be amazing at alerting

How is Mickey's Backyard BBQ? Good food or should we pass?

I loved it. I thought it was a wonderful hands on character experience for kids and adults. The food was good for BBQ and it was just so relaxed and didn't feel like you were on a time clock. I highly recommend!!

I am definitely keeping my ADR at BOG still. It is our last day at the parks and that's the only reason I was able to get that ADR. 180+7!! Lol. We will just stay out very late or wait in a line to see the dwarfs

Yes!! I'm checking the website and nothing is there. I check Scout too to make sure nothing happened! I've had nothing for a few days now. Just searching for Crystal Palace.

Great info on the party!! Thanks for sharing! When you went did you go in November or December? I've heard Thanksgiving week and December parties are more crowded than early November crowds. I'm on the fence about going to the 11/17 party but my biggest fear is to pay the extra cost for the ticket and fight crowds. For me personally, the party ticket isn't worth the cost if it's as crowded as a crowded park day.

Is the whole month of Nov free dining, except week of thanksgiving?

Free dining is based on your check-in day, so technically the week of Thanksgiving is free Dining if you arrived by the 19th, the last day of the deal offered.

Hello - We booked our first WDW family vacation for this November (hubby and kids ages 6, 4 and 13 months). I am learning as I go and since we only booked the trip about 6 weeks ago, finding ADR's is taking some work!

I didn't think they sold hard tickets to park capacity? Am I wrong about that? We are going 11/15. I think 11/17 will be popular since HS closes at 4pm that day. Could push a lot of people to the party that night.

I read that shouldn't be a very crowded date because it is a common check in/out day!! I hope so!!

It is also one of the last F&W days so hopefully everyone will be at Epcot! If you see a family of 5 in matching Mickey/Minnie head Christmas shirts with names that is my family

Ehh, just plan to see them during the first parade. We saw them towards the end of the party last year, waited only 10min I think. Got in line around 11.

So I have been trying to get the same 4 adr's since 180 days on my own. My plan was to pay for scout about a week after my 45 day mark (Saturday) if I had no success. Looks like that may not happen, not sure if this will be a good thing or not.

Wow! Disney must be proactively going after these types of services based on the notice on their website! Wonder if Scout and other similar sites will follow the same path?

I hope not. TBH all the individual searching puts a massive load on Disney's servers. The group search was a relief to them. Expect more problems as people go to manual and overload them.

this is the first time going during free dinning, we will be there from nov15-20 and I've never had such a hard time getting ADRs to chef mickeys
