Chit Chat Thread - November ADRs...

I have scout setup for two free searches as that's all I need to find. Any search on my own always comes up nil. Scout has yet to notify me with anything as well. I've not received one notification in the 6 weeks I've had it setup. I understand scout doesn't search every minute but how often does it search and would it search more often for a paid subscription to scout?

Scout won't email/text you a notification with the free searches. I've heard from others that if you only have free searches they send you an email the next day or maybe at the end of each day with the ADRs they found basically as a way of saying if you had paid we would have notified you of these openings at the time we found them. I don't think that is made very clear on the website. I never used the free searches so I don't have any personal experience this is just what I've seen other people say.

Scout does not text alert you with the free trial. I paid for a subscription and it applied payment to the two free ones so that I would start getting alerts.
Sometimes though, even with alerts you don't hear anything for weeks. I have a scout and Disney dining buddy alert set up for BOG dinner and I have only received 4 alerts and none since June. The trip is getting closer and I am starting to feel doubtful I'll ever get it.

Someone had posted the other day about the lack of November ADRs...I had a realization that between MVMCP and Free dining, plus LTT being renovated and some of the DHS places being revamped, that there are way fewer reservations available. Also, parks are closing earlier this year than past years, limiting evening spots.

IDK what it is with November this year but it is definitely less ADRs available than previous years. I have been goin in November since 2000 I cant remember it this limited. Meanwhile there is available rooms across property with the exception of DVC resorts and rooms which is pretty common for this time of year.

When I booked, I was limited to a DVC property. I would have rather been elsewhere.

Is anyone else watching for BOG to release dinners before MVMCP?

Have they done this in prior years? This will be our first MVMCP so trying to figure things out!

I sure hope the open more dinners up! I was able to snag a lunch but it is throwing my days off and I don't have a park hopper. Waiting to hear if Have they done this in the past!

They haven't opened up ADRs for dinner during mvmcp? I've been watching for one and haven't had luck. I thought they were all booked so that's why I haven't gotten one. There's hope for me?

I am not sure if they are open or not yet during MVMCP or if they are adding any. I am just hoping that there are more dinner spots opened bc I can't seem to get one!

People have confirmed they opened up dinners for MNSSHP and some dates for MVMCP, but not all. It's just a guess as to if they'll open it for any more dates. If you go to the restaurant page to make a reservation it has restaurant hours under the 'Find a Table' reservation box. You can see if it has post-party times or not that way...my MK day in November still shows 6:00 as closing time for BOG.

I'd have to go back through this thread but I thought someone said there were BOG dinners during party times in early December?

@OSUgal03 was reporting back on page 36-37 that she had seen some post-party dinners for MVMCP I thought. Maybe it was CRT dinners? Maybe she can clarify if she saw dates for MVMCP or if it was MNSSHP??

Here is how the CRT page looks during a MNSSHP night. On the MVMCP night I am going it does not show "Dinner Special Ticketed Event", yet.

So many things have opened up on Tuesdays, I was hoping today would be the day for the party hours to open up.

@OSUgal03 was reporting back on page 36-37 that she had seen some post-party dinners for MVMCP I thought. Maybe it was CRT dinners? Maybe she can clarify if she saw dates for MVMCP or if it was MNSSHP??

I was able to find some on the Halloween party nights (particually Oct 31 and Nov 1, as those were the dates I was looking) and not the Xmas party Night. But it was tricky, if you searched by time, there was nothing after 6:55. However, if you searched "dinner" it brought up 7:05 and 7:25 for me. Hope this helps.

I have to share this with someone so you all are the lucky ones I had a Disney dream (more like nightmare) again last night. Somehow my November trip was here but I was there with not the right people and I was totally unprepared. It is my husband, daughter and myself that are going but I was there with my mom, her friend she used to work with, and her friend's daughter. I had forgotten to make FP selections, I hadn't continued checking for better times for my ADRs and I hadn't finished two of my daughter's outfits for the trips (not sure why this mattered because my daughter wasn't there.) It was awful, we hadn't gotten up early and missed rope drop and got in MK late all the rides had terribly long lines. I guess this means that it is getting close and my subconscious is worried I will forget to make FP. Anyone else have any Disney dreams/nightmares lately so I don't feel alone?

It had all of my documents, boarding passes, passports, EVERYTHING! Our trip had to be cancelled at the last minute at the airport because we had no passports. No refunds, no trip, no magic, just tears and sadness.

Has anyone had any luck with Ohana dinner ADR's opening up for the 11/14-11/21 time frame? There hasn't been many cancellations that week showing up on the Cancellation thread and I haven't had any luck with MDE. I haven't resorted to Scout or Buddy yet.

I have gotten I think 4 texts in the last few weeks for openings at Ohana for that week but my phone has always been on vibrate so I saw the text too late. I hate to tell you but I think using a scout or buddy might be your only way of getting one unless you can search 24/7 on your own. So many people are using those sites and I've missed my Ohana texts only by a few minutes a couple of times and it's gone already.
