My son got a hoop in his nose, one sister got her septum pierced and the oldest got spider bites. It was interesting indeed.

Kacy who got the spider bites has a swollen lip. Kody who got her septum pierced seems to be fairing the best. Poor Loren who got his nose pierced had no clue what to expect, and didn't take motrin before we went like his sisters did.

im not Catholic but I found the book to be so outlandishly funny that it kept me going... and people believed it like it was the truth LOL

Love LOTR books. Not too much of a fan of the movies

I attempted to read the books, I could not get into them due to the way they were written. the way they talked kind of did me in. I understood it in the movie, but reading it was a bit much. Yes, people did read the Da Vinci Code and really believed what they were reading. As my son says, "sheep" they will believe anything. I was highly amused by that!

I loved the way that Tolkein worded the books. Especially the Hobbit. I was able to picture them and I knew clearly in my mind what Bilbo looked like.

And the language is why I read the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.

They took out allot of stories and characters i loved in the books... i know everyone couldnt be included but it just felt "Meh" to me...

After the epicness of the books the movies seemed very underachieving

OMG I am so excited I can't hold it in anymore!!! I get to meet Bateman on Feb the 8th, he's coming into Phoenix so I can show him the exciting sights and whatnot here!!! I find that if I have read a book and enjoyed it I don't want to waste the time on the movies. The only books I have ever written that I likes the movies has bee Harry Potter. But, with them I take them as a stand alone.
