Good morning and happy new year all!!

I got to go to the movies last night. I saw The Tourist, I really liked it. It was snowing when the movie was over, this morning the ground is covered in snow. Watched The Other Guys on pay per view, very funny IMO.

I'm supposed to head home today but I may wait till tomorrow because the mountain will be safer to travel over.

Last night was mellow. Dropped off DD6 at my MIL's, then we went out to dinner with 2 other couple friends. Italian food . We were invited to a party but decided to skip it and have the rest of the date night at a child-free home . We watched Splice (it was OK) and the ball drop, toasted with some red wine. It was a good NYE

A mellow NYE sounds pretty nice. Glad it was a good one

Oh you poor thing. I don't drink on News Years Eve. That is historically my worst night for getting sick when I drank.

I like to think so! If I didn't ... I would loose heart I think. I took about 600 photos yesterday (will probably only end up with about 300 once I go through everything and delete the bad photos -- maybe less). But that's still just 1 day to go through! We're already going tomorrow and Monday for at least parts of the day and I may go Tuesday-Thursday depending on how long I stay.

I've already got ... 81 edited. Another 360 to go. Oiy.

Got anything planned for tomorrow?

No, nothing exciting. Monday is Peanut's 2nd birthday and Steph is having a party for him.

It's silly but it's totally supposed to rain while I'm here which means I get to wear my rain boots!! So maybe there wont be as many pictures as I would like there to be if rain enters the picture but it's all good.

I wonder if he likes camping?

We are going to stay in the cabins at the campground. Normally I am all about camping in a tent, but this year I so want to do the cabin.

Big news though is that I get the tax check.

Hahah I hate camping too. But DH still loves me - we've been together since 1998 - my hate for dirt still just as strong So I'm just sayin' ...
