Taking down christmas todayI don't like it.
Me either. Not at all. But, on the bright side, it's less than a year until we see it all again.

Good morning! I am trying to get back on track today too.Good morning all. Today is the first day (for me) of normal routine. Time to get back to the gym and work off all the calories I've consumed over the past two weeks, soda goes back to one a week as does the the chocolate.

I was planning on putting my christmas decor away and doing some major cleaning/putting away and going to the bank and grocery store. However, I'm on delay status. DH is staying home and has banish DS and me to my room so he can get some sleep on the couch; so my day doesn't start until around 10ish.
Good morning! I am trying to get back on track today too.Boot camp started up this morning - ugh that alarm at 5 am was brutal after over 2 weeks of sleeping in
DH and I are doing a diet competition with some neighbors. It's called the The Game on Diet. We play for 4 weeks. Each person puts in 25 bucks. The winning team gets the pot and splits it. Plus we are going to have a party at the end, all the losers bring the food as well as comply with one special request of the winning team. It starts on Wednesday. Wish us luck![]()

Hello everyone! Wow it takes some time to catch up on here. Hope everyone had a good New Years!
Jazz, I hope you are having a great time down in SoCal, despite the rain. At least you were prepared! I wish I had been. It was so cold when we were there. I just didn't think it would rain as much as it did, I guess. Looking forward to pics! Now I gotta go catch up on your other TR!
Actually that was seasonably strange weather. I have been there in December when we had cold rain for 3 days of our trip and high 80's for the other two. You just can't ever tell.
Yeah, I should have brought some "just in case" clothes, but the only pants I had were the jeans I wore on the drive down and a pair of sweat pants, which were very comfy one day, lol. But I bought a hoodie, and after that, it wasn't so bad. Other than a very painful ride on Screamin', we made the best of it. Which reminds me, I really have to post the picture that was taken on that ride. It was so funny we had to buy it.
Living in California and being a person that dresses in layers I was able to handle the weather changes. But, the really warm days I was not as prepared as I would have liked.
I was prepared for warm days. I thought even if it rained a bit, it wouldn't be as cold as we're used to up here. At least not as cold as our October weather. And it probably would have been fine, if it didn't pour for 3 days straight. We ended up not going on the third day of rain, and stayed a day longer and took time out of our Las Vegas day to make up for it. But at least we had that option. I don't really remember what we did that day. I think we took some naps and did some laundry and just relaxed. If I remember correctly, we did a little shopping later at an outlet mall and checked out one of those Halloween Club stores, as we don't have stores that big dedicated to Halloween here, lol. The extra day actually turned out to be really nice and much needed.
That extra break day can be nice. You can relax and regroup. I think with the really long drive that you had the break day was well needed.
