Chipotle or Friday's?

I know, I know. But it's in Mason (which you so kindly told me!), I'm in Norwood since that is where I go to college. That's a 30 minute drive. Next time, I promise! ;)

But there's two other locations! But maybe not close to you. Where is Norwood? I know one location is in Cincinnati, but I don't know exactly where and the other one in Newport. Think of me--the closest Moe's is in Annapolis, which is about an hour away. We do have California Tortilla, Baja Fresh, and Chipotle, though. I think you also have Salsarita's in your area, at least I think we saw one when we were there. Have you tried that? We liked Moe's more, but they are similar.

Oh, and you have Graeters Ice Cream, too! :cool1:

You are cracking me up, are you sure you don't work for Moe's? Norwood is about 10 miles North of the actual city of Cincinnati, about 15 minutes from Newport, so I guess that would be a good location for me. Now if the Cincinnati location is downtown, that could work too. I think you know more about the restaurants here than me, your 12 year old must be a great researcher! Anyway, yes, we have Salsarita's in the mall, also Burrito Joe's which is the same idea. I like them all, they're a great place for vegetarians!

YEAH we have Graeter's!!! Did you get to try some when you were here? My sister recently moved to Orlando and she is begging us to send her some!

Me too. :guilty: I will not live near one for years.

Sorry, I guess I set a lot of people up for a craving here, Chipotle should be paying me to advertise...

I found out about Moe's from the DIS boards--another vegie DISer was going to go to one near her, but it wasn't open yet. But yes, my son did a lot of research. Funny, though, we all (both of my older sons, me, and my DH) all came up with Deweys on our own. We had Graeter's on our list, but then I got sick at the end of our trip. I was so determined to try it that I looked up a Columbus location and we went when we were driving back home. It was about the only thing I ate that day (turns out I had strep) and it hit the spot. I probably went to that mall when we were looking for Reds shirts for our boys, but I'd have to look at the map to know for sure. All I know is that we were lost (so much for our navigation system) and we ended up at a mall. :rotfl:

You should have called me, I could have helped you find your way! ;) Did you by any chance end up finding The Cincinnati Store? That's the actual name of the store and they have everything Cincy, tons of Reds shirts. I had no idea there were Graeter's anywhere else but Cincy. Interesting. Is your whole family vegetarian? Because otherwise you should definitely have tried some Cincinnati chili. I used to really like it back in my meat eating days!

Okay, I really have to get off the computer now and go do some homework...I guess it's just so fascinating to hear about people vacationing in Cincinnati! :rotfl2:

btw, this isn't the only reason I hate Chipotle.

OMG see what I mean??? They took everything I liked away! Coconut chicken tenders? GONE. Grilled chicken sandwich with yummy honey mustard dressing? GONE. Oreo Madness? GONE.

Scr*w Friday's, go to Chipotle!

Oh, I loved the Coconut Chicken Tenders - I used to go there about once a week for those! I almost cried when they weren't on the menu anymore.

I would have said Chipotle too - I don't have one within a 3 hour drive of me and I would kill for one. I hope it was good!

We're all vegetarian, so no Cincinnati chili for us. Is the Cincinnati Store next to the Reds field? We went to that store, but my boys wanted $100 jerseys, which we weren't going to buy, so we went searching for sporting goods stores. Found a Dick's (Sporting Goods :rotfl2: ) and the mall and was able to get shirts and hats for a lot less $. Not as nice, but our kids will outgrow them, anyway.

I like Chipotle, but can't eat it real often. My college DD can eat it all the time, though. It is starting to sound good after reading this thread. Thanks a lot! :rotfl:

Chipotle by far!!! Even before the menu change Chipotle outranked Fridays by miles and miles, now that they've changed their menu I'm hard pressed to step foot in a Fridays.

But, you know, since we're talking about Cincy.. did someone say Skyline?! *drool*
