Chipotle Mexican Grill

Well, I ended up making shrimp pad thai for dinner last night instead of doing Chipotle. Maybe we'll get it later this week.

The burrito I had with carnitas was spicy, so it must have been the jalapenos in the fresh tomato salsa. I'll have to get the salsa on the side next time. Everyone keeps saying that the corn salsa is mild, but on their site it says medium. I keep wondering about the black beans too.

I always thought the corn was medium also. I was surprised to see people saying it was mild.

I know that Chipotle says it's medium, but that's the salsa I usually get there and it tastes pretty mild to me.

mmmm shrimp pad thai! YUM!!!!! IMO the black beans are not spicy.

You've never had a chunk of jalapeno then! LOL I've had bites of the corn that have fired up my mouth big time...it's soooooooooooooo good, I love the corn salsa but yes, it can have a kick.

I am from Southern California so nothing they have is spicy to us. I am not into the chipotle style of mexican food (give me albertos) but the margarittas are the strongest in town and the chips and guac are fantastic. My son drives and is my designated driver and we go for what I call happy hour (we don't live with a clock). I love me happy hour at Chipotle

And whoever said on the border was good mexican food must think olive garden is good italian~! Too Funny! It goes for El Torito, Acupulco and Chevys as well!
