Chip n' Dale Campfire question

And what about HDDR or just eating at Trails End. FW is like any other resort on property. If you want to visit you can.

Awesome, good to know. For some reason I had the impression it was treated differently. Glad to be wrong!

It did change a few years ago. You could just go into the "visitor" lot (I think its called the overflow lot) without going through a guard shack.

It was changed to work like all the other resorts. One reason I heard on the camping board was that times like Halloween were getting out of hand with locals knowing that FW was a great place on property to party.

So now you have to state your purpose and I think on Halloween you have to either be staying there or have confirmed ADR's to get in.

One other issue you maybe thinking about is that only registered guests/cars can drive around the campground. A visitor has to park and bus to get anywhere.

OK. I think that's what I was remembering -- that you could just drive in and park in the guest/overflow lot without showing any ID. Thanks!

Is the Chip n' Dale Campfire open to people not staying at Fort Wilderness? We'll be over at CSR, but my sister and her family will be at Fort Wilderness and she asked us to visit for the evening. Is this welcome/permitted, is it frowned upon/akin to pool-hopping, or is it somewhere in between? Thanks! :scratchin

You are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!!!:hippie:
