Chip & Dale at Chef Mickey's?

Can you still see Chip and Dale at Chef Mickey's? Allears still has them on the list but the Dis does not. Which one is correct? Thanks a bunch.

They are not at Chef Mickeys. They are at the Garden Grill at the Land in Epcot though.

So, who is at Chef Mickey's now? We haven't been in years and one of the reasons I picked it was because Chip and Dale were my brother's favorites when we were kids.

Well, my nephews will be thrilled with the Fab 5, but I really wanted to kick the trip off with Chip and Dale.

Good question, battleflag. I guess we'll be happy with Pluto. After all, he is difficult to find sometimes. Chef Mickey's was a must do for us for many years, but then we felt the quality had really declined. We haven't been back in a long time. However, my brother hasn't been to WDW since 1985 and his boys (7 and 4) have never been. I thought Chef Mickey's would be great for all of us for their first night. Now, I'm a bit disappointed because it was going to be very special to have Chip and Dale there. Oh well......

We've gone to Chef Mickey's the last three years in a row. Chip 'n' Dale were not there in July 2007 or August 2008. The last time we saw them there was July 2006.

They use to be at Chef Mickey's the few times my family and I went there for dinner. However as others have said they are no longer there and when we would look at Chef Mickey's the 12th floor at the Contemporary we never saw them and the most recent time we did this was last month, when we stayed at the Contemporary.

What did Chip and Dale do to get this kind of treatment???

I just heard they are leaving Cape May Cafe and replaced by Donald; LTT is getting rid of character dining, Garden Grill too. They are not at Tusker House or 1900 Park Faire. Does that mean they are no where to be found for character dining experiences? That stinks. I've always thought they were adorable and was expecting them to be somewhere when we go in January.

Anyone have any info if they are moving to another place. All of a sudden, Donald looks like the main character, after Mickey. I honestly don't care one way or the other, but now it seems like there will be a little more repetition.

From what I've read The Garden Grill will no longer have a character lunch. Chip and Dale will be there for supper. We will be having supper there next week and will let you know.

Honestly, I found that because I don't go every three months or six months that I didn't even notice which characters were at Chef Mickey's and which were not. Our family was just in awe of the experience of being around the toons that were there. We of course saw Chip and Dale at the Garden Grill...but didn't really pay too much attention because disney was all around us.

If your brother and his kids haven't been before or in a while they will probably feel the same way. Just go to a few different character meals and you will be fine, in my humble opinion.

When we were there in August it was Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy. I had also read that Chip and Dale were there prior to our trip. Not sure when they went away or if they will be back at Chef Mickey's.

We did see them one night in MK though (got pics and autographs).

I know, and they will be fine with it. I guess this was more for "Aunt Melanie" than for anyone else.

Separate question, has anyone ever had a Chip and Dale themed cake made? If so, where, and do you you have any photos?

For a really good time, although a bit pricey, Mickey's Back Yard Bar B Que is a very good meal with Chip and Dale, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofey. For a much better price, FREE...you can check out the Campfire program at Ft. Wilderness. It's a lot of fun, and Chip and Dale are there every night! The price is definitely right.

Chip and Dale were still at Chef Mickey's in June, 06. I looked at my pictures from June, 07 and they were replaced with Donald Duck. I also found my birthday placemat from 07 (the green one), and the signatures had been changed to include Donald Duck. The same with June, 08.

The restaurants always list the disclaimer, "Characters subject to change without notice." Every year I go to Chef Mickey's for my birthday. Although I did like Chip & Dale, I have to say Donald is one of my favorites. I wouldn't be unhappy if they replaced Pluto with Chip & Dale.
