Has anyone tried this at Epcot in the Garden Grill?
How did you like it? Was the food good? How was the atmosphere? Where in the Land is this located? Last time I was in the Land it was so noisy there.

I have never seen anyone talk about this dinner. DH found it last night on Deb All Ears and said he thought it sounded good. I wanted to check with the experts before I called for an ADR. :)

Thanks Bob! When I tried to search all it showed was my post. :confused3 I must have used the wrong search! :rotfl2:

Thanks again!

We were just there on Sunday. We booked a 1:50pm ADR but arrived early at 1:20 and were seated within 5 minutes. We thought the food tasted good and really liked the quietness of the restaurant. Our server was very good at remembering to refill glasses & skillet. Our favorite part was the character interaction. There weren't many people dining there at the time so we saw each of the characters at least 3 times. The characters were interacting with the servers as well. Chip threw a whole bunch of straws on the floor and refused to pick them up. Next thing we knew, Mickey was standing there trying to make Chip clean up the mess he made. This went on for 5 minutes until Chip finally cleaned up. We saw the characters chasing the servers around and just doing really silly things!
The Garden Grill is located on the top floor of the Land. You'll walk near it as you go to the escalators or stairs to get to the attractions on the bottom floor.
I think we'll book this one again next time! :)

Years ago, went to this character dinner and loved it. Really, really liked the food and in fact, took some of the flank steak to our room (meal is family style, it was what we couldn't finish, and would have just been thrown away) and made sandwiches for the next day. (We drove to Disney and had a cooler full of food to take to eat in the parks - before baggage checking at the entrances post 9/11) We are going in May and have already made our ADR for this character dinner!

We've been at least three times, but not since the menu change. Every time we've gone the food has been really good. Its my dh's favorite restaurant on Disney property, but I think he just likes it because its all you can eat. :sad2: Its never been crowded when we've been and there's always been lots on interaction with the characters. We discussed going there on our next trip in May, but our dd is 15 now and would only agree to go to one character meal. So we decided on Chef Mickey's the evening of the day we arrive since we're not doing a park that day.
