A few more details about our wonderful evening at Kouzzina's My Hottie's name was "SAID" pronounced I ibelieve SAYEED!
I took this pix of the restaurant from outside

We wandered down Boardwalktaking in the sights which are wonderful especially at night

Now you remember we had Winkers with us, but it had been such a wonderful evening we took a cab back! The driver knew the way and was VERY chatty!!!

Once back at Pop I headed to my room for a few minutes when I opened the door this is what I saw

I was sooooooo touched by Christine's thoughtfulness and how she had weaselled my last name outta me without me having a clue !!!

BTW: Said (pronounced Sah-eed) is a very popular name around these parts too. But all of the "hotties" around here are missing 1/2 their teeth, smoke, are fat, or stink.

Oh, Rosie - you'd think I'd have remembered your last time since I'd just booked a trip for us a couple of months before. Talk about a major senior moment.

I am kinda disappointed in the surprise gift...that is not quite how they described it. They told me it would be on your table with lots and lots of ribbon and very festive...hmm....and that the goodies would be set up in an open bag. Oh,well, as long as you enjoyed a surprise! It was fun.

Okay guys we will take a quick break from TR to share this story which is in the true vein of this TR amusing !!!

One of my staff told me this TRUE story today at work !! He was told this by a close friwnd of the family:-

This family has an austistic son who is a BIG dude , kinda lives in a fantasy world !! Well the other day he calls his Mom at work to tell her he caught a TROLL and he has it locked up!! Mom says "That's Nice" figuring "fantasy world !! Well he called her several more times with the same tale and said the Troll was in his closet !!When she got home from work she went to his room and found his bed and dresser pushed against the closet !! Then she heard banging from inside the closet


She moves the furniture and opens up the closet to find a Jehovah witness who was a "little "person locked inside !!!

Now I am not laughing cuz the guy was locked up cuz that must have been awful , but the whole story is just incredible !! The "Troll
was very understanding and NO charges were pressed!! The poor Mom was dumbfounded !!!

I'm sorry this guy was locked, but this is just too funny.

I also wanted to say that I thought your surprise was wonderful. It's so great when someone is thoughtful enough to go to such lengths for such a deserving person. I hope you enjoyed it.

I hope you are feeling much, much better today. I am so sorry for not checking in these last few days, but that real life thing just got in the way and in what little time was left I started my own pre-trippie!

Your Kouzzina review is amazing - we ordered the brussel sprouts as well, but never received them, despite the server telling us they were disneyliscious!
I LOVED the surprise you got ....... looked familiar to me! It's so nice that some people go to great length to sneak in a little surprise for ya!

I am still laughing about it !! 3 of my staff are JW and if they come in and say they have a horror story to tewll I will probably pee my pants !!!

Coming out of lurkdom to agree that the troll story is really funny, would loved to have seen the mum's face, I can just imagine that for a split second she really believed her son had trapped a troll

Oh and hi Rosie, your trip report is great, its helping me get by until my own trip in July/August.
