We got up earlyish today and headed to the foodcourt for breakfast, we both went for the chocolate chip pancakes, DH gets a side of bacon as well. We get a hot chocolate but its quite watery, next we try some of the fruit punch stuff but it tastes like sweets so we get fanta.
Today we headed to Wet n Wild, DH loves waterparks more than the regular parks so he was very excited today. We arrive before it opens and I accidentally enter the park before it is actually open. We rent a locker and grab some sunbeds then its straight onto Disco H2O which is our favourite. We do a lap of all the slides, at Storm I go in head first as normal and at Blast which has never been open when we've gone before I give myself a dunking when I fall out of the raft instead of stepping out.
We garb an early lunch, DH gets pepperoni pizza, I have spaghetti and meatballs and we share some breadsticks. I love the breadsticks and always get them. We take a break and go back to our sunbeds to let our lunch go down. We had been worried about the weather but by now the sun is shining. I get a build your own slushie on the way.
We do another couple laps of our favourite rides, there are still no queues for anything. We leave the park and take the long route home down International Drive. As we our passing the outlet mall it would be rude not to stop in so we go to Banana Republic and we both get some clothes.
We head back to the hotel to clean up for dinner. On our way out we get a stamp so I can send a post card and I get given some mardi gras beads. Our ADR tonight is at T Rex, as i'm waiting to check in I hear a woman ahead of me trying to bribe the CM to get her in early, he does not take the money. We are seated straight away but unfortunately right under an air con unit. I get a cosmo cotton tini, I really like it. Food wise DH gets a rack of ribs with waffle fries and veg and I get a chicken sandwich with waffle fries.
Normally the CMs are very attentive but the minute I want something (mayo) he is nowhere to be seen. The waitress at the table next to us is telling her table lots of info so I listen in! T Rex has 2 kitchens, A & B, kitchen A serves the odd numbered tables and kitchen B the even numbered ones. Each kitchen has 30 chefs, there are 32 waitresses and 4 bar staff. On a good day they take $100,000, as it was September she thought they would take about $80,000. She only worked at T Rex part time, her normal job is as a teacher but during the summer season she makes more money working at T Rex than she makes all year as a teacher.
We walk through DTD, there is some entertainment on the stage area so we stay to watch, they have 3 adults doing dances to music, one guy is clearly drunk so its pretty funny. After that we have a quick look in one shop then its back to the hotel.
