Coffee in hand, I headed to see High school Musical 3. There was only 10 min to go before it started. This nice CM showed me where to stand to have a great view. I did let a few kids sit in front of me though.

The show is lovely. I love these movies. I sang-along. I am always amazed at how people just stand there. No one knows you. Would it kill people to show a bit of enthousiasm?

AFter that, I didn't really know what to do. I knew I wanted to see Beauty and the Beast, but there was still a bit of time to kill. What did I do??

I auditioned for the American Idol experience lol It was fun. Once you go in see the casting judge, they give you a button saying you auditioned. Yep, I didn't go through lol I sang 2 songs. And when I sang a Britney Spears song, apparently I came alive. I have great energy and great spirit. But they are looking for someone who has more presence on stage. Yeah, I feel like I auditioned in front of Paula lol But it was fun.

Lol yup I got sent a lithograph poster of Mickey when I first joined (think that was for being a charter year member?), and with each magazine you get a little something.. one was a patch based on the 1965 'new' rides at DL (mine was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!)

Also if you use disneystore.com - email them to tell them your D23 number, then you can buy the exclusive merchandise online... there's lovely clothing, pins etc

I got a blue D23 hoodie for my December trip.. I saw another lady wearing it in MK and we had a sort of 'secret smile' moment, knowing we were both in the club!

Loving your morning at DHS so far... how nice to avoid the stampede to ToyStory/ToT/Rock n Roller.. and just go for some delicious breakfast at SR!
My sister and I stood and sang along to the HSM3 show too - we love the movies!!
We meant to audition for AI too but didn't find the time... well done you for doing it!! I play piano & flute but I'm not a great singer lol

When I took Timon in my arms yesterday night to get him to bed, he started miaowling and hissing. He seems to be hurt. I can't touch him without hurting him. He may have been hit by a car or something. He didn'T eat this morning and he seems to have troubles breathing. I am going with him to the vet at 10am. I'll keep you posted. I hope it's something that can be fixed. But be sure that he won't be going outside without being tied to something from now on.

Timon's going to be ok. Apparently he's been bitten by another animal.

So he now has antibiotocs and anti-inflamation pills.

Taking a break from spring cleaning to bring you a new update

After my audition for AI Experience, I walked the streets of America. I wanted to see the Back to the Future building I had never seen before.

After that, I decided to slowly make my way to the Animation building.

My main objective was to meet the "UP!" characters. While I was waiting in line, I met some nice people, as usual. I was wished a happy birthday.

I love the pictures, but I have to say it was not my best character interaction. I didn't feel they were natural with adults. I don't know if you understand what I mean.

Here are the pictures I purchased.

After that, it was finally time to go see the Beauty and the Beast show.

I had to wait about 10 minutes before it started and I snapped this shot.

Let me tell you that "Gaston" was genious!! He was the greatest! I wish I had filmed this time. At the end I really applauded for him, and he pointed and winked at me. Yeah, I was in the 3rd row and he saw me. I felt like a giddy school girl. Are you ready for pictures? hehe

Your Gaston had real muscles! When we saw the show in 08 the guy playing Gaston had to wear a muscle suit! It was really obvious in the pictures but not so much from the audience.

After that, I decided it was time to eat. And I picked Pizza Planet. I had never eaten there, and I heard about it a lot. On my way, I stopped at the Comissary to see what props they had on display.

They still had the Desperate Housewives dresses from July, but they had added Ugly Betty props. YAY!!!

On a side note: I have a student in one of my classes that is obsessed with Eva Longoria and Desperate Housewives. I gave her a copy of the pics of the dressed and it was like I was giving her a thousand dollars. If only it was that easy to make everyone happy
