Oh... I see. We have 4 periods a day in our Middle and High schools. They call them blocks. We have A days and B days... so their are 8 different subjects for each child, however, one of them is study hall typically. Seniors can get early release if they have fewer courses left to take. My son has early release on both A and B days. So he gets home at 2 or 2:30ish instead of 4.

Did you notice all the countdown tickers are malfuncitoning?

Mine did the same! I tried to Edit Signature in User CP.. and it said "please remove censored word" ??? lol so I've changed from Magical Kingdoms to 'My Vacation Countdown'.. very similar

The parade soon started.

Being close to the street we received a lot of high fives.

At that moment, I had to stop taking pics for a bit and change the batteries in my camera.

Smee took that moment to point at my mom and I, and start swaying his hips. And then he made circular movements with his hips while his hands were close to his bottom.

My mom and I were laughing incontrollably. And of course, I did not snatch a pic of that.

We now call him "Dirty Smee".

Lady Tremaine said something to me as she passed by, but I did not understand a word she said. Something like "you may look", maybe?

I forgot to mention that the "Alice" on the float, was the same I met earlier.

So let's go on with parade pics.

After the parade, I asked for a quick stop at the bakery. I was cold and wanted coffee. I opted for a latte which was delicious. My mom says that I was so cold that anything hot, I would have liked lol

Next stop was the jewelry. My mom bought me a ring. It looks like diamons but was 12$ hehe I am in love with it.

And our last stop as usual was the confectionary. We bought drinks and snacks.

Then it was time to get back to the resort. Once in our room, we relaxed. I decided to write notes for this tr.

My mom wasn't really hungry when dinner time came. So she just snacked, while I ate a chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes. It was good.

We spent the evening reading. And I watched "My fake fiancee". I like it. I love Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. It was a cute movie.

During commercial breaks I wrote 3 postcards, and as "The Wedding Date" (one of my fave movies) was starting, I fell asleep.

I woke up early, and decided to head to Epcot as soon as I was ready. I made plans with my mom. She would meet up with me around 1pm. She was tired, and didn't feel like rushing.

So I got ready and headed out. I waited around 20-30 mins for the bus. It seemed soooooooooooo long.

As I walked in, I noticed that "Spaceship earth" had 0 min wait. I decided to go in. I had NEVER done it. So why not go in.

I really liked it. I like the educational aspect of it. I guess I'm a nerd lol

And here's my future.

When I went out of the ride, I sent myself a postcard, then I played one of the games. You know the one where you have the 3D glasses and put the bones in the right place.

I then walked through innoventions. No idea why I did. Nothing ever sparks my interest in there.

I went to ride "Test Track" but it was closed at that moment. I decided to come back later, but never did.

The land was my next stop. At that moment I was starting to get hungry. I had heard good things about sunshine seasons, so I went to see what all the hype was about. I bought a coffee and a strawberry shortcake. Wow. That cake was gooooooooooooooood. I'll definetly go back for more!

I always forget how many 'unusual' characters are included in them... like Tweedle Dee!

How do you find visiting the parks alone? I've always wondered what's its like.. just to be totally absorbed in the Magic !

I do like it. But I wouldn't do an entire trip by myself. But having a few hours to myself, yes I do like it

I'm now seeing the tickers for everyone else but me. My ticker is showing up as the text and links instead of the actual pictures. I don't really know how to get another one or fix it. I don't really have time either because we're leaving for Disney in the morning. I'm getting frustrated with the ever changing weather report. As of yesterday we were clear for warmth and sunshine the whole week, and I shouldn't complain because it could be worse, but now, for Sunday, it says afternoon thunderstomrs, and we're arriving Sunday afternoon! That's exactly what happened to us in July. We got drenched and we all know my camera drenching ruined it. Got a new camera, a camera bag and some raincoats. This time we'll take it in the park. Last time since the villa wasn't ready when we got there, we went into the park but left everything packed in the car. This time, I guess we'll have to leave the rainwear outside of suitcases so we can take it to the park if we go before we unpack. Let's hope that by the phrases "afternoon Thunderstorm" and "afternoon shower", what the weather people mean is quickly passing!!

looks like I fixed it!! yeah.... I simply clicked on the ticker of someone whose ticker was working and made a new one! I guess whatever that one brand of ticker is, is not working. Some other folk's tickers are not working on another board.

and did I say.... 1 more day til we leave and Sunday I'll be there. It'll take us 11 hours to get to our overnight stop in south Georgia, and then about 3 1/2 hours to drive to Disney from there! The van is clean (at least as clean as a 9 year old van can be), clothes are in baskets ready to pack... and masses of stuff is being staged in the music room!! yeah!

Hiya.. there's a thread on the Tech/Welcome to DIS forum that says Magical Kingdoms had some kind of virus recently so the DIS moderators decided to block them, just to be safe! You have a lovely countdown now though Mindy!!
