Chillin' at the Contemporary-PTR+ All-Star quick trip TR - Completed

At Pizza Planet I go the vegetarian pizza with the side salad and a coke. All the seats were taken. All I could find was a high table without any chairs or stools. So I "settled" in and quickly ate.

After that, I went to the Muppet store and found a cute "Bolt" stuffed animal. I couldn't believe it. I had not seen him anywhere else. He's so cute hehe I wish there was a Rhino too, though.

After that, it was time to head back to the hotel, and rest in the room a bit.

After a bit, we decided to go Downtown Disney.

Our first stops were the "Memories" store and the art store. I lve to see all the art that Disney artists do. It's so great. It inspires me a lot. But I didn't buy anything. The posters were nice as usual. But they weren't items that I felt I couldn't live without.

The rest was really nice too, but I couldn't afford what I would have loved hehe

We then went to the Pantry. I don't remember us buying anything.

After that, I decided to go check out the cds and dvds at "Once Upon a Toy". It's where I finally found the Spectromagic cd. YAY!

Tren-D was the next stop. I didn't want to spend too much as I already have more Disney t-shirts than I need. So I only got a Tink t-shirt. It's like her silhouette in the moonlight. It's pretty and "classic" in a way.

We then took at break and had a snack at Ghirardelli. I had the caramel sundae (with extra caramel) and my mom had a chocolate milkshake. Both were good. And even though my sundae was good, I kind regretted not eating the chocolate milkshake too hehe We normally go more than once, but not this trip. Oh well..

With my belly full of sugar, I went on a shopping frenzy at World of Disney. Ok, not a frenzy lol But I did buy quite a few items. I bought a Haunted Mansion book, pins, a lanyard(that I use everyday for my work keys), a calendar pad, and a pair of earrings I had seen at Sir Mickey's.

On our way out, we stopped by the pin store and Christmas store, but came out empty handed.

We went back to the hotel. Had dinner of ceaser salad and cheeseburger. Read a bit. Then went back to bed.

It had been a big day for me hehe

Great photos of the Beauty and the Beast show. We too didn't get to see it this trip. There was alot of things that I'd planned for this trip that didn't work out. I am planning on writing a trip report but I'll have to use my photos as memory cues. I didn't bring my little notebook to take notes because I was already carrying so much and my hand bag was so heavy. We ate at Pizza planet too. That's where I met up with Wendy (Tinkerbell60). I got the veggie pizza with a salad. We had an initial failure because my husband went to get the food and he came back with 3 plain cheese pizzas although he had my salad. I was very disappointed. The lines were horrible, but I walked back to the building and there was a cast member showing people the menu in the line outside. Probably to help people decide so they could order faster, because of the crowds. I asked her if there was a way to "fix a mistake", she said she would go right in and get me my correct pizza. And she did. She even wouldn't take the wrong one back even though it wasn't touched. I tried to give it away to hungry teens, but there were no takers, so we had to get rid of it. I don't like to be wasteful. The veggie pizza was good even though the crust at Pizza Planet is doughier than I prefer. I like a very thin crispy New York crust.

Glad Timon is going to be ok. I hate it when pets get injured.

I agree Mindy - Toy Story Pizza Planet is not bad - it is also one place my kids will eat, so it makes it a winner.

Have you heard what's going on with the FL education system lately? Things don't look good! It's awful in NJ and I've been thinking now is the time to move to FL BUT it's not any better there!

Things in education don't seem good anywhere in the Americas. Teachers here are negotiating with the government for our working conditions. And we are having a hard time getting through.

Sorry there's hasn't been an update lately. Lots going on. I am.......... moving out of my parents house. So I have lotsa things to do.

Ooh that is so exciting. Are you getting your own apartment or with a room mate? It'll be so much fun getting to put your own personal decorating stamp on your own place. I'm sure there will be touches of DIS. I have a Disney bathroom in my soda fountain themed rec room that was partly inspired by Casey's Corner and partly by the bakery and partly by Beaches & Cream and not to forget Club Cool. I have a whole big collection of Coca Cola memorabilia.

It is bad in education everywhere now. But hang in there, things swing back and forth over the years. It was like this when I graduated college in 85, but then turned around a few years later... now its back to bad. Here in Loudoun county VA, they're always hiring new teachers because our county is growing so exponetially. I'm not sure about their treatment of art education though. They cut my friends special ed teaching job right after she got her masters in special ed and taught one year, so now she's back to 5th grade. I have thought about going to teaching. My field would be Family & Consumer Science, which oddly, has not been cut. Music and art usually get cut, but I'm not sure if WE cut it. My daughter is getting her teaching degree in Secondary School Science, which is always in demand. She wants to teach Earth Science in high or middle school.

I'm moving into my friend's condo. She just bought it. She was supposed to buy it with her boyfriend but things went sour. So I'm moving in with her. She's moving into the condo the first week end of May, or last of April. I will slowly move in. So all Dis stuff will be in my room hehe

It is. Thanks! Still making boxes and getting rid of stuff. We are going to clean the appartment on Friday. And my friend is moving into the place next week end. I will slowly be following.

Yep. I'll be moving boxes first. Everyday when I go to work. Then it'll be the big items.

Big decisions. Timon is not an indoors cat. He's not happy inside. He can become agressive. My dad's coworker has a farm and is looking for a cat. I am not at home during the day. He would not come to live with me right now. Maybe it would be better for him to be there. I'd be heartbroken but it's not my parents' pet. IT's mine. But like I said, he can become agressive. I don't know what to do.
