I have this excursion booked but would like some first hand info on it. Anyone been on it and how was it? Thanks :flower:

Hello Amy, I'm not sure of it either but our group along with 43 other Fools are going with you on that excursion. I'm sure it will be great...Mark

My DW and I went on it for the May repo cruise. It was fun but the water was too cold to really enjoy it. My wife only stayed in for a minute or so but I stayed in for at least 20. The water was pretty green and murky too. There were quite a few fish being fed from a zodiac but you couldn't really see how colorful they were since the water was so green.

The crew on the catamaran were very nice and drove us to that arch thing (I'm blanking on the name) and lovers beach for pictures and then took us to Chileno Bay. There were free drinks and snacks on board.

I don't want to make it sound bad as we did have a good time. I'd seriously consider bringing a wet suit of some kind. After 30-40 minutes, nearly everyone was back on the boat and stayed there until we left.

If you are on the August repo cruise, I'd recommend Bounty Adventures snorkeling tour (www.bountyadventures.com) in Curacao (instead of the one through Disney) as it was far superior to Chileno Bay.

there is a very detailed report on it at allearsnet.com (from the 5/28 cruise)

This must be why at noon on 5/22 I wasn't able to get a space on this excursion for my family!!!

Actually - the reason you couldn't book - was the DCL computer system was showing it as full. If you didn't ask for a Supr. and for the CM to go to the Back Room -- they couldn't sign you up for it.

Try calling today -- you never know -- must people take no the first time they hear it.

We also had to phone in and talk to a CM. They had to manually book it for us. I read another review from someone who said it was GREAT! I hope so!

I've called back several times since the first day and have had the same result.
