YAY!!!!!!! I pray each of the rescues go as well as the first.

This reminds me of watching the first moon landing, but with such JOY!

Holy Cow Mare, I just posted that on my facebook page....I feel much the same as I did when they landed on the moon!

I'm on Foxnews myself. It was really nice to see it. I might have missed it if i hadn't been following this thread too The streaming is a little bit behind for me. Dh was awake in bed so i told him 5 minutes and jumped right out. I'm thrilled for the miner's family

I keep thinking of the little girl that was rescued from the well, Jessica McClure. I skipped classes that day to watch her rescue.

Seeing that capsule come up reminds me of of the second when we saw her surface.

Well, I'm off to bed...hopefully I'll be able to sleep after all the adrenalin that pumped through me in the last half hour!!!!

Hopefully the number of men rescued will be nice and high by the time I have to wake up

this is so amazing. the efforts, the time, the never ending planning.
I remember back when this started, thinking there was no way this could have a good ending, but look at it now!
I don't know if I'll be able to tear myself away from the tv tonight.

I thought for sure I was going to be so tired that I might fall asleep and miss it. Now I'm so keyed up I don't know when I will be able to fall asleep.

I teared up as well, especially seeing the son crying. I'm so happy for the family!

I'm never going to be able to get up for work and I don't even care. God bless those rescuers.

REAL is the only kind I do anymore. Popcorn. Bowl. Lid. Microwave 5 mins. Add butter (you can splurge on butter cuz you didn't use any oil) Bit of salt.

Eat.

It is amazing to see the cable bouncing around as they are coming up. And I can not even begin to imagine the anticipation and excitement of the family as they are standing there waiting.

This 2nd one looks like it is almost there.
