From what they're saying, it was the father of the first miner expected to come up. He was trying to get there, and reporters were trying to interview him I guess. Basically, HE needed to be rescued from the media.

BBC is still reporting that the mine expert is to return to the surface, but the Chilean national station is reporting that the first miner is about to go up...

Well, capsule is going up with the first miner inside it!!!!!! Guess BBC was wrong

OK, now they're saying here that there is a miner in the capsule and on his way up.

I'm watching CNN on tv, but they are streaming it live on cnn.com as well. CNN seems to be the only station that has gotten the facts right.
