We are going to Disney in July. I want to buy our park tickets before we leave. My daughter is 9 yrs. now, and will be turning 10 while we are there! My question is do I purchase a child's ticket or an adult's?

I've seen lots of posts on this and I think the "official" word from Disney is you pay the admission required based on the age at the start of your visit. I know there is a thread here somewhere talking about a child that will turn 3 during their trip and someone posted the response from Disney. I will try to find it......I am sure someone else will be along any minute to answer this for you.

Thanks mommysteig!! It looks like since she will be 9 at the start of the vacation, then I can get the child's ticket. Thanks for the great info!!

Glad I could help!! Have a wonderful time:Pinkbounc

You can absolutely purchase a child's ticket for her. When she turns 10, you have two options.

Disney will exchange her child's ticket for an adult one with the same remaining unused admissions intact at NO CHARGE.

Or your second option is to just continue to let her use the child's ticket. No one will ask for any proof of age.
