Childs Suitcase

After our last trip, I realized that my sons suitcase was just too small for him. We're looking for a 21 inch at least, no more than $50 and has characters on it. A tall order, yes. Does anyone know of something fitting those guidelines? I can only find ones in the $80 ++ range and that's just not going to happen right now. Thanks!

I don't know if these stores are around you, but TJ Max, Marshalls,Ross, Home Goods? Try looking on craigslist. I find a lot of things on there.

In a couple of years, he's probably not going to want characters. All of my kids use a regular carry-on, and have since they were 4.

I think amazon.com is going to be your best bet, just do a search and there are tons of options. I found cute carryon size ones for our girls which work perfectly!

Try Amazon. I see several different character choices (mostly for little girls but there are a few for boys) and they range in price from $30 on up! Also most of them are just over 18 inches so they might be a bit small.

I got my kids' suitcases at Target. They are nice uprights, one is Frozen and the other Star Wars, and they were $25 each.

We always split our clothes so no one's clothes are only in one suitcase. This way if one suitcase goes missing, no one is left without clothes. We also pack a carryon with one day's worth of clothes in case all checked baggage goes missing. When we go home, we then use that carry on bag for anything we buy and just add the clothes to the checked baggage (we make sure the weight will work). You might consider doing this method and simply add some of your son's clothes to the other suitcases.
