child's parkhopper plus upgrade??? HELP!

I have a partially used child's parkhopper with 3 plus features left. My daughter turned 11 in December and we are going to WDW in Feb 2005. Should I upgrade her parkhopper to an adult or take my chances that she will "pass" with a child's ticket? I read on another website that if a child is 10 - 12, that an upgrade is "unnecessary" in their opinion. I also read that if I upgrade the parkhopper to an adult ticket, I loose the plus features.

The bottom line is -- I am happy to pay for the adult upgrade, but I do not wish to loose the plus features remaining. Also, I don't want to get stopped at the park entrance with a child's ticket and be asked to go to Guest Relations for an upgrade. Can I have my cake and eat it too?

Incidently, my 11 year old is about 5' tall and is sometimes thought by others to be older than 11.

Help me, o Disney Experts! I need your supreme wisdom.

Have your daughter do an even exchange of the ticket at no cost for an adult ticket and the pluses will still be there.

(Actually her age being 11, you should accompany her to Guest Relations for this.)

It takes very little time, costs you nothing and she looses nothing on the ticket and then she won't be sneaking around, or perhaps feeling that way!.

Disney will upgrade your daughter's ticket to an adult pass at no charge, and all the plusses will remain. Go to Guest Relations (with your daughter) when you get to the park, explain the situation, and they'll take care of it.

The only way that you would lose the plusses is if you apply the dollar value of that ticket towards the purchase of another one, child or adult.

It is correct that you should have no problem just using the child's ticket as is for an 11 year old. But should it make you feel better, just take the child's ticket and your child to any Guest Relations location at the major parks or DTD and they will exchange the ticket for an adult one with the exact same admissions remaining on it for no charge.
