Where oh where is Hedgehog? Where can hedgehog be?

Mr Hedgehog was originally bought at Mothercare in the UK in 2001 as a stocking filler for my oldest Son. It is Mothercare own brand and had a label that was white with green writing on the label. When my youngest Son was born in 2004 my oldest Son gave it to his little brother, and by the time my youngest Son was 1 it was his firm favourite.
He used to call him Mr Hedgehog, or Squidgeflog, and used to love pushing his nose in and out when going to sleep.
He was an international jetsetter Hedgehog, but we were always very careful to keep him safe.
Last September we took him to Florida, and despite my son feeling poorly when we were there, we made him leave Mr H in the hotel room when we went out to keep him safe. Tragedy struck when the maids came in, stripped the beds and obviously took Mr H too :-(
The hotel hunted and hunted, but Mr H never came back. My Son is soooooooo upset - it's nearly a year since Mr H went missing, but he still speaks about him all the time. He asked today where he could be, and I said he's probably having a great adventure somewhere, but he wants Mr H to come back.my son has dyspraxia and autistic traits so I suspect it's hitting him harder than other kids, he's hugely emotional bless him
The hotel he was lost at was Springhill Suites, Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, Florida. They checked their laundry, and they checked their external laundry people.
Obviously the chance of getting OUR Mr H back is slim, but SURELY there must be a cousin of his out there?
Do you know anyone who has a Mr H? Could you pass this page to all of your friends and families so they could check to see if you have one hiding? I am sure not many 9yr olds would want a hedgehog any more, unless of course another child has it as a comforter!
You would make a little boy VERY happy if you could locate one.
We did contact MOTHERCARE where it was manufactured for, but they were unable to help.
