We've done our previous cruises without DS(1) as he wasn't born. When we travel next year and want to book excursions, can we book in our Castaway membership level with him? or will I have to wait for the 1st time cruisers to book his excursions?

Everyone in your stateroom gets to book excursions/activities at the Castaway membership level of the highest person in that stateroom. (So a room with a Gold, Silver, and 1st timer are all treated as Gold.)

The child can also be the person in the cabin with the highest Castaway Club status. My cousin's daughter, who is 9, is platinum. Her grandparents, my aunt and uncle, took her on a cruise this summer. It was their first DCL cruise, but they got complimentary Palo because of her.

Just booked this morning for our excursions. I'm a 4th time and hubby a 1st. I booked everything for both of us at the same time since I'm silver.
