Does anyone have one of these?

Any recommendations on which one to get?

I want to get one for my DD who will be almost 18 months on our WDW trip.

I saw some Mickey & Minnie ones on Ebay, but I wasn't sure if those were good quality.

Any input would be much appreciated-thanks!:goodvibes

We were just at HS to see the Osbourne lights this week. We saw the cutest Minnie backpack harness. It was at the Muppets store. You can call Disney Merchandising and see if they can ship it to you.

For what it is worth..We have never used one. My DS was 18months when we moved here and DD was about 4 months. We lucked out because our kids are not runners. If they wanted out of the stroller they knew to hold onto hands or they were back into the stroller.

Thank you! I saw one on Ebay, but Minnie looks a little....weird. I wondered if it was a knock-off.

My DD is just on the verge of standing/walking now & I'm not sure if she is going to turn into a runner or not. She is quite a fast crawler right now. It's our first trip though, so I want to be prepared!

We used one on our son. He was the kid that always would get lost. Plus he was an excited runner.

I love child leashes over strollers any day.

Don't remember the brand because that was eons ago but couple of good looking brands came up on amazon with reviews.

Oh no! The one at HS was MUCH cuter. I looked at the price tag, I think it was between $16-20.

Well the. You have time! Really work with her on walking and holding hands at all times. I really think that is what did the trick. They had no choice: hold hands or in the stroller.

My son is ten now, but we used one at Disney World and when we went hiking with him. It was just too dangerous not to, as he was a runner. I don't remember the name, but it wasn't one of the cute, fancy ones.

Just a warning - hope it doesn't happen, but posts about these have turned really ugly fast in the past.

I bought a cute giraffe one on Amazon this summer in anticipation of our upcoming trip with our now 2 (almost 2 1/2) year old. She's not a runner, good about holding hands but my thinking was that a crowd it will make me feel a lot better. We tried it at the zoo a few times and other places and didn't get any of the looks I was dreading from others. She also things it's great fun to have us "Chase" her around when it's on. We'll take it and might use it but I'm on the fence if we'll actually need it.

The one I got was under $15. Honestly I'd go that route (Amazon) instead of getting one there. The one we have is also well sized for a toddler so that helps too I think.

I used a Littlelife one for DS. They are themed to look like different animals (DS had the dinosaur one). It was great for carrying small snacks, a diaper and wipes.

Thank you. Yeah, I assumed there was a possibility of some ugly replies, but I don't care-better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you all for your replies! Wow, it is only $15-20 in the parks?? I was figuring twice that for WDW prices lol!

I say forget the cute stuffie one.

I used harnesses with my twin nephews.

We went with a plain nylon strap harness.

The little backpacks would have been way too hot (especially with the Florida humidity).

They would have insisted on carrying the plush not wearing it.

Walmart and target both carry simple toddler harnesses and they are around $10.
