Children's prices

Do children's prices remain the same regardless of dates, categories, or early booking? I believe I know the answer to my own question and if so why doesn't it ever drop?

No, children's prices have a price range just like adult pricing does. The pricing varies with the cruise length, stateroom category and early booking savings tier.

When I look at Travelocity.com (which is where I always look) It is always $399/child regardless if it is a category 4 or category 11. I did notice that it went up when comparing winter/fall rates with spring/summer rates. I always look at the cheapest price and pick my days that way. My original question was really when prices go down again for say the 2004 cruises, will the children's prices go down, also. Right now they have lowest category priced at $799/adult, $399/child. I'm hoping to see a $649/adult price again if I book early enough and wonder if a child's price will drop $50 or $100.

I have the pricing sheet for 2002 sailings and there is definitely a range of pricing for children 3-12, from $399 to $999 for the 7-night cruise. You're correct though, on stateroom category, that does NOT seem to affect the pricing, just the early booking savings tier that you are in. Third adult pricing (for those ages 13 and older) range from $599 to $1199 and infant pricing (2 and under) is $119 regardless of the EBS tier.

I'm not sure what you're asking about with pricing going down for 2004 cruises though; once that pricing is released for booking it should be pretty firm. Typically DCL RAISES prices from year to year. Of course there will still be seasonal variations with pricing and certain months will be much less expensive overall.
