Children's Pool at Wilderness Lodge??

Does the Wilderness Lodge have a children's pool?

Yes it does. It was so jammed pack during our stay, during offseason I might add, that we termed it the kiddie soup bowl. It was just as packed with kids as it was with parents that thought it was okay to stuff their butts into it too! LOL! The pool is way too small and heats up very quickly. I'd skip it.

It wasn't busy at all when we went (off-season). In fact, my two kids were the only ones there! Then later, they ended up joining with the other kids in the hot tub. They enjoyed the kiddie pool and the hot tub.

The children's pool is not zero depth. If I remember correctly, the pool is approximately 12 to 18 inches deep and 18 feet in diameter.

Yes, it has a very nice one.

It was never crowded during our Sept trip. In fact, Brittany was nearly always the only child in it.

Yes. WL has a nice kiddie pool and when we went in May 2004 it was never crowded. Several times we had the pool to ourselves. There are nice umbrella tables surrounding it and we ate lunch there several days.

No pool at WL is zero entry. The AKL pool is, though!

We were there last week and DD6 enjoyed the kiddie pool, hot tub and big pool! It wasn't too crowded, but it was a bit cool out so I think a lot of people were not swimming.

I got a drink (a lumberjack I think it was ) at the pool bar! Ahhhh...I really miss being there!
