We are going to disneyland paris from the 15 till the 19 of march , and would like to know if they check the age of children at the restaurants , we were thinging of going to the Billy Bob's Saloon , will 12 year olds get by as children or do they ask for id , iv'e seen the age for the children buffet is up to 11 .and do you have any idea on the price of drinks in there .
Thanks
This is one of those questions that you will get a variety of answers.
Personally I'd not be happy encouraging my children to lie about their age so would just accept that Disney treats them at adult prices above age 11
Some places have menus for 12-16 year olds, which is great as they are that bit bigger and more likely to fill a teen. Once when our son was 12. the waitress said "2 children?" and we said "no, he's 12" and she just nodded and said "2 children" quite firmly, so on that occasion we accepted it as a bit of luck.
We've often been asked the ages of our two younger DDs, not to "catch us out" but because at 12 and 10 it can be hard to tell whether they are a "child" or a "teen". I wouldn't feel comfortable lying about their ages either, whether they heard it or not.
As hildasmuriel said lots of the restaurants are now serving a teenager menu for 12-16 year olds, and at the buffets we have always found our DDs eat more than their fair share of food!
