We leave for Disneyland the weekend of Thanksgiving and my DD7 is desperately looking forward to the kids meal lunchboxes and would love to know what's on them picture wise and how many different styles there are, oh and she asks if ther is a pooh bear one too!!! Thanks for any answers on this! :earsgirl:

We got 3 kids meals when we went in July and they all came in the same lunchbox. There is a comic strip featuring Timon & Pumbaa on the lunchbox. I didn't see any other designs - everybody that we saw had the same lunchbox.

I think the lunchboxes in DCA are a different color than in DL. I've seen yellow, red, possibly blue and green since March.

I went in mid august and my kids got the orange one with Pumba and Timon from Disneyland as well as the purple one with Mickey, Minnie, goofy and Donald from DCA.

unclescroogefan: They are a small (4 x 6 x 2) plastic box with a carrying handle that has a plastic clasp similar to a lunchbox. Most of them are bright primary colors. A lot of the kids meals come in one. They are just the right size for a sandwich, package of oreos & a fruit rollup. My son has a couple and we find them perfect for packing a lunch and snack for him when travelling somewhere either by plane or car.

At end of August, we got brown/bronze lunchboxes with Goofy and Max from Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland (nuggets in tortillas with lettuce) and from Enchanted Cottage by Snow White (cheese filled bread bites - kids loved them!). We got lavendar boxes with 3 musketeers (Mickey and Minnie) from Taste Pilots Grill (2 mini burgers with smiley face fries).

Just a personal note -
On Saturday, we went on the Discover the Magic Tour (20% off with AAA) and on top of this being the best experience EVER, we got lunch included with our tour from Rancho Del Zocalo. It was waiting for us at the restaurant at the midpoint of our tour. They also providied lunch for our 2 year old even though he didn't purchase a ticket for the tour. My very tolerant husband carried 4 lunchboxes for the rest of the tour since I wanted them for souveneirs! Fortunately we had a stroller to load everything into.

My kids just rattled all this off to me - do you think they have great memories of vacation or what! princess:

Recently I took my little sister to DCA and she got a kids meal at Ariel's Grotto. I thought it would come in those cute sand buckets with a shovel, but instead they came in a green lunch box with a Muppets comic on the front. I noticed other kids got the same thing. Did they ex the buckets? I've never seen the ones with Timon & Puumba. :wizard:

I could take a photo of the lunch box she got if you'd like to see. We got an extra one to put our cotton candy dessert in. Just let me know. :goodvibes

We have one with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy & Donald, and another with Goofy and Max. (Those are from this week).

Do you get one of these when you order a kids meal? Do they have different ones at each place? :earsgirl:

The one they had two weekends ago was brown and had goofy and max on it but there is no grarantee what one you will get sometimes they have the same one for weeks sometimes they change it mid day. I have a friend that collects them and he has almost all of them so when ever we go we get one for him.

Here's a photo of the lunchbox I got from Ariel's Grotto earlier this summer:

Went in November last year- Lilo and Stitch comic strip at WWS. The kid cheeseburger is almost same size as "adult" menu burger.. save yourself money and buy kid meals!

Zukeeper, we're planning to do that tour too! We did the Family Magic Tour in WDW and LOVED it. Can't wait for this one. How did you book the Tour with AAA? Did you book through Disney and give them your AAA card # or did you call AAA direct and book through them?
