DS is 9, and it varies by season.

In the Fall, he plays soccer and has CCD. We keep fall very light so he can get back into the swing of things schoolwise.

Late Fall to Early Spring he'll play indoor soccer and basketball, as well as CCD

Spring he'll be playing soccer in our town's travel league and do baseball, as well as CCD

Summer he goes to a YMCA day camp nearly all summer, with the exception of 2 weeks of soccer camp. He'll also take golf lessons again.

2 right now - soccer and dance. She just started kindergarten and we're doing a lot of socialization right now - like 6 hours a day isn't enough to spend with the same kids.

We only allow 1 activity at a time. He plays soccer 2 nights a week and games on saturday. Once that is over he will start some kind of martial art until spring soccer season. Then in the summer its swimming.

They both do children's choirs at church on Wednesday(that I lead) and it goes until May, and DD plays the trombone. I want DS to start piano.

When the weather turns they're going to do recreational gymnastics, and DD wants to do Basketball, and DS will do peewee wrestling. I think softball and baseball in the spring. I like them to keep active in the winter.

DD is in a lot of monthly and every 2 month groups like science camp, and our church has a youth group for 3-5 graders. And Sunday school.

During HS I had something 4 or 5 nights a week(between dance classes, school events and the like)

right now she has 4 different practices per week. Thankfully 3 are during school hours. She gets a viola lesson, orchestra practice, chorus practice, and her special singing group practice.

DD is doing dancing now
and
DS is doing flag football

So one each right now.

DD6 does gymnastics, ballet, and hockey year round. It's getting to be a bit much. Within a year or two, we'll knock it down to only 1 or 2 activities since she'll have to start going a few times a week to each activity. Hockey would be the most time consuming (and expensive) and that is her favorite right now.

Where is like everyday of the week?

Feel like Ive been kidnapped by Fall Sports

Football/ Soccer/ and Field Hockey

Thank goodness for a crappy weather day like today for a break

Is this normal?

dd10 - CCD, voice, theatre, aerobics
ds8 - travel soccer, rec soccer, flag football, roller hockey, CCD, cubscouts, and baseball and basketball when they start (gave up ice hockey)
dd5 - voice, dance, gymnastics, soccer
dd3/ds3 - soccer, gymnastics, preschool, dance, 2 playgroups per week

I'm pretty busy!

DS17 - Boy scouts and guitar lessons
DD12 - dance - Nutcracker reheresals (just until Dec)

DD6 had
Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat-karate
Tuesday-Girl Scouts
Wednesday-Irish Step Dancing
in the spring she adds softball to the list

We vary from season to season. Right now:

DD7 does soccer, karate, and girl scouts
DD4 does art class, soccer, and gymnastics
DS1 does baby gymnastics

The oldest just started first grade (full day now) so we're slowing down a little bit. Fortunately, girl scouts in this town meet every other week. So we don't get overwhelmed by that activity. This fall I told the girls two activities only (yeah that worked). Neither one of them wanted to return to dance. I was a little bummed, but boy am I saving money...and stress come recidal time.

I needed the four as of this week,

Football
Basketball (Practice started this week!)
Bowling
Golf

DS9 Tae Kwon do (twice per week)
DD15 Pep band, Basketball, Server in a soup kitchen

10 year old dd has soccer - 5 days a week, 2 plus hours a day
dance - 2 classes, 1 day a week, 1.5 hours a week and cheerleading - 2 days a week, 1/5 hours a day but this week that will be doubled as they have competition on saturday.
and I am the only chauffeur - so that gets a little tiring added onto working but she is a great, smart kid. so she's worth it.

We joined cub scouts this year and younger son starts cooking class this week. I'm willing to make this one happen, because he loves to help cook.

Beyond that, short of me becoming obscenely rich, they'll have to be happy with that-I'm not chauffeuring to more than two activities at this time!

I suppose the music lessons will start eventually, if it's guitar, then they'll just get lessons from daddy. :)

Currently ds is not in anything because he was working. He may join indoor soccer, not sure yet.

dd1 is currently in dance, girl scouts, and soccer, she also does softball in the Spring

dd2 is in dance and soccer

Also we work at a Haunted House every weekend in October. Lots of fun!

DD8- Ballet (twice a week), Soccer (Sat-games & Sun-practice)*, Brownies (1-2 meetings or activities per month) and Violin (3rd graders at her school need to choose band, orchestra or choir for their music class. She chose orchestra. Currently this is only during school hours, but as they get closer to the Holiday Concert, she will have rehersals after school. If she keeps up with it, she will probaly start private lessons in January.)

DD6- Soccer (Sat-games & Sun-practice)*, Brownies (1-2 meetings or activities per month)* She would like to take voice lessons, but I'm still looking for a class or choir that is right for her. She is also deciding between the school Drama Club (meets twice a month, starts in two weeks) or a ballet/jazz/tap class (once a week in the church behind my house. VERY CONVENIENT!!! :teeth: )

*Soccer- my DH coaches both of their soccer teams, so we were able to make their soccer schedule fit his schedule which makes this a relatively convenient activity for our family.
