This may be answered somewhere else already, but do children have to eat off a separate buffet at places like Crystal Palace and Boma? I've seen that they have a kid's area, but my DD(3) princess: and DS(15 months) would not be satisfied with chicken fingers and fries if I am eating something interesting off the adult's buffet. They are very adventurous eaters and I am sure that they will be sharing my food at non buffet TS restaurants. I am saving DD's TS credits to extend our dinners a couple more nights. I know some of you might not find that ethical, but she will not eat pb & j or some of the other lame offerings they have for kids. I want to encourage my children to eat a variety of different things. Thanks in advance for the answer!!

At Boma, the kids are welcome to eat anything they wish. The "kids'" selections ..(i.e. chicken fingers, mac and cheese) are in one section, but there is no intention to keep kids there.

I think your kids will really like Boma! :thumbsup2

At most of the buffets they do have a kids area but by no means are they limited to that area.

There is usually one section called "the kids offerings" but anyone, including adults can eat there. And kids can eat off the adult offerings as well. They just have some items that they feel are kid friendly like chicken fingers, mac and cheese, freedom fries, etc. Your kids won't be limited to just that one section.

The children's buffet at Crystal Palace is lower to the ground so kids can dish their own plates and has only three or four offerings - chicken fingers, pizza, mac & cheese, etc. My DD5 loved filling his own plate at that buffet. But, I also got him some things off the adult-sized buffets. I don't think the intention is that kids have to eat that food, it's just what most kids eat and sized so they can help themselves. I filled my DD2s plate from the adult buffets.

As the previous posters have said there is a separate area with "kid friendly" offerings, but my DD (4) will absolutely not eat that kind of food. She eats the same things that the adults eat. HTH

We usually eat at buffets because the kids can eat anything they want. DD, 9, will at least try just about anything while DS, 14, prefers the chicken fingers and fries over the adult offerings. I also like that DD can get veggies, something that is generally lacking from kids menus.
