Childrens' activities at WL and AKL?

Can anyone give me a breakdown of the things for kids to do at these resorts? We are going to take 3-4 days 'off' after the parks, and REALLY want a nice, FUN place to stay.

ALSO, if I book a non-savanna view, what are the chances I will get an upgrade? This would purely be a '$ saving' thing, but I want a savanna view, since we will not be doing a lot of Parks at this time.

If you want a Savannah view room at AKL then that is what I would book. I would not hold out for a free upgrade or you might be disappointed. There are lots of things to do at AKL like cookie decorating, story telling in the evenings, there are some games with the CM's if I remember correctly. There are some rocking chairs in a couple of areas where you can just sit and look out into the Savannahs. It is a fun hotel to explore. I have never stayed at WL so I can't help you with that.
