Childcare Services? Any Opinions?

Hi Everyone!
I am in the process of planning our October trip, which will be our DS 4 first trip to the world. My husband and I are considering using the childcare services at The Beach Club or Yact Club so we can have some F&W time!

Has anyone used Childcare on property? Opinions on which one is the best? How does the security work at them? Any tips/tricks/advice?

We have used the ones at AKL, WL, Poly, and YC/BC. All are fantastic and my kids love them. When pressed, they like AKL the best, but say they are all really the same.

What kind of security are you looking for? You walk in, give them your kids name, they get a name tag. Then you fill out a form with your contact info and food choices. You then bring that same form back (it's a carbon copy), to pick them up. Easy peasy.

Thanks for the recommendations! I appreciate it. I guess I was thinking of something a little more high tech than a carbon copy of a piece of paper. I thought I read somewhere the the kids club on the cruises uses an wristband with all of the kids vital information and then the parent sets a password to check the child out. A little uneasy that only a carbon copy is needed to check a child out. Not even an ID is required?

Typically there are about 2 - 10 kids in there. The people who check your kid in are, more than likely, the ones who will check them out. So, they will at least recognize your face. I have never been asked for ID. The paper you have is your ticket to get the kids out. So, as long as that is in your possession, nothing to worry about..


What they have now is the same as the childcare at the gym we go to - sign in/sign out. So, it is what we are used to.
