Child Turning 10 at WDW

Friends are considering booking a trip where there daughter will turn 10 half way through the trip. If they purchase a dining plan will she be charged as s child for the whole trip or half as a child and half as an adult? It's a big difference.

If she is nine years old and on the dining plan at the start of her trip, nothing will change in the middle of the trip if she turns ten.

only way she could possibily have to pay is for a split stay where they would change resorts as that is 2 separate ressies but I am not sure. otherwise she is the same age as check in day for whole trip. same as little ones turning 3 on the trip
