Several years ago, my children used 2 days of a 3-day childrens pass. I am now thinking of going back in March. They are now 12. Is there a charge to upgrade these tickets since my children are older?

At Disney, no charge.

At Universal, I don't know. Here is my personal advice:

First have your kids try to use the passes as-is.

If that does not work, ask about exchanging to an adult pass.

Depending on how much more money you have to pay, consider taking back the old passes unchanged, buying new passes for the kids, and giving the old passes to other children or nieces or nephews, etc.
