I don't recall this question coming up before, but can you do child swap if you have 2 other children who are eligible to ride? My wife and I have 3 kids - DS2, DS7, and DD9. If we want to ride Splash Mountain, for example, do they allow child swap with our young one while each parent rides with one older child? Thanks

Yes, of course, that is exactly the type of situation it is created for. When your wife gets to ride, she can take one of your kids with her again since the swap pass is good for 2 people.

Or, even better, combine FP with swap so you can get 2 FP's and have you and one child ride using the FP line, and then have your wife and other child use the swap pass to ride. That way you can double up your FP usage!

I too was wondering about the same question. And also, do you just tell the cm you are wanting to do a child swap and then wait for your spouse to get off the ride and then its your turn?

Thanks and very interesting, but how can I get all 5 of us into the FP line with just 2 fast passes? I had thought we could do it with 4 fast passes and then try the child swap.

You don't get all 5 of you in the Fast Pass line. Get the FP, go to the fast pass entrance, show the CM your FP ticket, ask for a child swap thingy, half of your party waits outside the FP entrance while the other half goes on the ride. When the first half of your group comes out, the other half goes in with the child swap ticket. Very slick and nice. Get a FP for everyone and use only half of them, then come back later and use the other FP's again with child swap. This way you double your opportunities to get on the rides by getting that many FP's.

Hope this is clear!! :) We did it all the time on the rides our younger DS's were too little to ride. The only hard part is that DH and I rarely go on rides together, because one of us is always with the kiddies. :goodvibes

Yep, just like Brady's Mom described. Just note that your whole party needs to go to the CM at the front of the que in order to get the swap pass. And just a reminder, the FPs can be used anytime after the first time listed up until park closing, and the swap passes can be used later in the day as we (you don't have to use them right after dh/kid1 gets off the ride. It really helps add flexibility to your schedule while decreasing your wait times for the big rides.

Another note, child swap is good for any ride where you have a child who is either (a) not tall enough to ride; or (b) too scared to ride. So it's not just for rides with FP.

I have 1 cranky teenager,I'll swap for 2 grandkids. (must be potty trained):rotfl2:
