Child Swap / Fast Pass question

My hubby and I have never used the child swap before. If we each want to go on Tower of Terror with my DS and are planning to use a fast pass to do the ride, do we all (DH, DS, and I) need a fast pass to enter or just DH and my son.... can my baby daughter and I will just wait at the exit and then my husband takes the baby and I ride with my DS.
So...do we all need fast passes to get in the queue for child swapping? Hope this question makes sense. Thanks!!!

I would say all get a fastpass, and do the baby swap when you board the ride. There's useully a CM at the FP station who could answer your question when you get there. Last time I went I saw someone ask this question, and they were given a special tour?.

You can all get a fastpass. Why not? Then, you or your hubby can ride twice, using your little ones fastpass. Each attraction has a different way to handle the child swap. Your best bet is to ask when you get in the line. The CM will tell you what the procedure is.

I don't know what the policy is for Tower of Terror. I've ridden it once, when I didn't have the kids with me. Too scary!

Sometimes we just use Fastpass' and we don't bother with the special child swap pass they give out.

What we do is we all get Fastpasses and then DH rides with older DD and I wait outside with younger DD and then when they are done, I go on with older DD again (she uses her little sisters' fastpass). Works great.

But you could also tell the CM at the entrance that you want to do child swap and they will give you a special Fastpass for child swap that is valid for the whole day and for up to 3 guests (that way you do not have to ride alone if you have an older child they can ride again). If you get this special child swap pass then you really only need to get 2 fastpasses (for DH and DS) and the special child swap pass (for you and DS again).

They do not swap at the exit for ToT.
