My husband found a pack of plastic "dog tag" type necklaces with string to wear around the neck. I plan on making my DD4 and DS2 wear them when we are there in 2 weeks. My question is what info would you include on it? I know cell phone # but what other info would be good to add?

Thanks

Their first name and your cell phone numbers (we always both carry).

But I wouldn't have them wear around their necks, they could lose it or worse yet get it hooked on some part of a ride or something. Some rides don't stop when you get off which can make exiting it tricky. Put an o-ring on them and then attach to their shoe laces. They will be noticed (especially if you add a bright bead or two) by the CMs. Tell them it is shoe jewelry :wizard:

i simply wrote my cellphone number on one arm, dh's on the other and my sil/bil's cell numbers on their shins. they had a luggage type tag affixed to their shoe with all of their info and they knew what it was (3 and 5). we talked in *detail* about what to do if they got lost from me and couldn't see me or daddy. to immediately go to a mommy *with children* and say they were lost, this is my name and ask them to call please call mommy - point to mommy's cell phone number. i was really terrified of loosing one of them. my eldest has always been a wanderer and getting her to stay close has always been a challenge.

i dressed them alike every day in bright shirts so they were easy for me to see.

This is what we use for our four-year-old and two-year-old:

http://www.kidtagz.com/

Waterproof, sturdy, easy to see and information is not easily visible unless the tag is opened. The tag is always on their shoe or sandal, even when we're not on vacation. Works well for us.

On the tag, we've written my DH's and my cell phone numbers, home number and for my DD, her allergy info.

We did cell phone number and DS's first name on an engraved tag on his shoe. I agree that a necklace may not be the safest - easy to take off and lose, easy to snag on something, etc.
