My first grader wants to be Goofy, his favorite Character from our first trip to Disney this past spring. I am not crafty or creative. We have the Goofy baseball cap with the ears etc that we bought in Disney World. Was thinking of doing blue pants, orange shirt and black vest and maybe try to find some of those white hands like he and Mickey have. . ANY OTHER ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I think you have come up with the very costume I would pick for my little one...
Make sure you use brown hiking like boots if you have them.. if not, any brown shoe would work..
