My heart was pounding the whole time I was reading The Search for Puppy. You did a great job of relaying the emotions you were experiencing, and many of us parents were right there with you through the search! And we all breathed a sigh of relief when Puppy was found.

I know what it is like to lose a loved toy. I have a crocodile which I have had since I was 3 and now I am 18, and he comes every were with me and I mean every were. Anyway while I was still at school (in my last year) my friends thought it would be funny to hide it from me to see what my reaction would be. I took some one all night to carm me down even when they gave him back (I should point out that I was in boarding school).

I am glad that you found puppy for him.

We also had a similar experience we lost doggy at magic kingdom but did not get him back for two days, after checking at lost and founr daily, he was turned in and made my then 2 year old very happy, he is now almost 5 and had to retire his old doggy due to holes and willingly found a new doggy. Thanks to the nice people who know that this must be one loved animal.

Chico, you write the BEST trip reports. I can't remember when I've been so entertained. Your son is so adorable. I love the teacup picture!! How wonderful that you found "puppy"; I was on the edge of my seat. What a great dad you are to go back and look for "puppy". Can't wait to read the rest, but am going to be sorry when it ends. When's your next trip??

I could see that coming!!!!!!!!!!

Ours is Amiee - a bald, very well worn Cabbage Patch baby that has been with DD (11) since year 1. Amiee has been lost at the grocery store, Ponderosa Steak House, motels, you name it!!! DD still sleeps with her every night and Aimee often goes on 'car' vacations with us, but often sleeps in the car so she does not get lost in a motel room again.

YEP.....my daughter's little yellow rat (it's really a stuffed doll baby) is named Daisy. Don't know what I'd do if we ever lose Daisy. She's a part of the family.
