Good morning!

I don't have much to tell today. It's a very pretty day but it's very cold. At least for us. I have a busy day today with a lunch meeting, client appointments and the 100 other things that will come up. At least it makes the day go by fast!

I'm all caught up with my pile of laundry from the weekend. Yesterday I was still playing catch up but now it's all done.

So Susan how cold is cold by you? I've been having the air conditioner on for about a week over here. Not a good sign that's it's in the 80's already. I'm going out on a limb here saying it's going to be a hot, hot summer.

Joanne are you still getting snow?

Ok, so relative to other parts of the world, it's not that *cold* but it's only supposed to be in the 60's today and to me that's pretty cold. It's deceiving because it's absolutely beautiful and sunny.

Susan the 60's are my favorite. Unfortunately we have such high humidity all the time that once we get into the 70's it's hot.

Good morning all

The snow is gone! It went to about 65 over the weekend and the snow was melting instantly.

Now we're getting the damp cold because it's been cloudy and rainy. You know when it feels like it's going right through you.

But 40's mean Spring is on the way!!

I'm still fighting this cold/flu stuff. This morning I woke up to a sore throat which is a fairly new symptom! I never know what the day will bring.

I was at Target on Sunday but wasn't feeling that great so I didn't accomplish as much as I'd hoped. I do love Target.

Hey girls! I miss y'all!!! I wonder what y'all are up to all the time, but I never seem to find the time to get on here. I've been working literally 70+ hours a week and barely even see my family.
But today I'm just relaxing. On my to-do list is checking on y'all, cleaning, various little projects around the house; maybe a quick run to the grocery store, and a little facebooking. Yes, Will got me and Sean on facebook. I fought him on it forever saying that's the last thing I have time for, but I started an account last week and discovered it's a quicker way to keep in touch with family than trying to track them down and talk to them. And I found a couple of DIS groups there. Now I just need to build up my friend list so I don't look like such a loser! Tell me if you're on there so I can friend you!
Off to iron...I'll see if I can catch y'all later.

Hi Lori it's so nice of you to stop by. I hope you are enjoying your day of rest and relaxation. Is that Will in the picture in your signature? If so he's all grown up now. I'd love to hear about the trip you took with your family last year. How'd it go?

I just got my order of Girl Scout Cookies delivered yesterday. I went to Party City today and they had a troop selling them there. The sucker in me had to buy three more boxes. I put those right into the freezer. Hopefully I'll forget about them and find them in a couple of months and have a nice surprise.

So my Target loving friends do either of you have a Super Target? I don't but have been to one before. Just think if my Target had a real grocery in it I'd never leave.

Joanne I have tried the lemon cookies and they are very good. Actually I think I like them all but my very favorite is the Samoas.

Susan a cruise to nowhere sounds fun. Is this a work cruise or just for fun?

We don't have a Super Target. It's hard enough to get a plain ol' Target around here. They've been trying to build one in the city I work in for years and years and years. People are resisting the big stores. I just want to be able to run over to Target on my lunch breaks.

The cruise to nowhere is a work thing. The are running a two night cruise for travel agents to introduce the new ship to the Mexico market. I'm cool with that! I'm hoping to lie in the sun and read all day.

How is everyone? It's hot here today -was yesterday too. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Daisy goes to puppy school on Saturday and I'm anxious for her to get some learning! This morning she got into my niece's toys and dragged a Cabbage Patch Kid around the house. It was hard to yell "no" while laughing.

My second favorite place to shop is Sam's Club. I'll be heading there today. I don't know why I love shopping in a warehouse and buying things in bulk that I really don't need but I do enjoy it.

I really need to get all the girl scout cookies out of the house. Even though I'm not dieting (but should be) the cookies aren't helping one little bit.

Good morning!

It's one of those mornings when I woke up early and feel like I've been awake forever. I actually got to work 30 minutes early and sat in my car to read a chapter of my book. I'm going to be tired this afternoon.

We don't have Sam's Club here but we have Costco and I enjoy shopping there. I usually don't buy much in bulk because it's just me but I do stock up on Honey Nut Cheerios!

I don't have any GS cookies this year and haven't seen them anywhere to buy some. I suppose that's a good thing.
