Chicks and Roosters...part 2

Jeanny, great to hear from you, sorry about sickness and your mom too!

Tricia, good luck with the braces today! Hope she's not in too much pain

Good morning!

It was a blur and I'm back at work already. I'm sorry to hear you were sick Jeanny but at least you should be well for your cruise! Tricia, tell Kendall good luck. I remember braces all to well. I'm sure she'll do fine.

Today I get to go on a field trip with Colin's class to The Young Chef's Academy. I wonder what fun things we or I should say they will make.

It shouldn't be anything to complicated because it will be three classes of second grades trying out their culinary skills.

So, happy Tuesday. :teeth:

Good morning all!

Jeanny, enjoy your cruise! :yay: At least you were sick now then later. ;)

Tricia, That sounds like a fun field trip! I hope Kendall's braces go smoothly. :)

Hey girls!
I've been busy busy busy. Looks like all of y'all have too!
Now I'm enjoying a quiet day with nothing to do. This weekend we're taking a road trip. DH is doing a bike race and Will and I are tagging along so we can shop--there's a Disney Store where we're going. Even though I'm always disappointed whenever we go there, it's still the Disney Store! :mickeyjum

Good morning! Sounds like you girls are busy.

I hope whatever the kids make is fit to eat!

It's just another day at work but at least Monday is overwith. :)

I'm back from the field trip. The place was adorable. Who knew it was a chain? Have ya'll ever heard of Young Chef's Academy? Thank goodness the first thing they made the kids do was wash their hands. They made blueberry tarts and ham and cheese tarts. Both of which Colin did not like but the making of them he enjoyed.

Arkie I'm all in for a weekend of shopping. Where shall I meet you? :rolleyes1

I've never heard of it but it sounds like a cute idea! Thank goodness for the handwashing thing. When I taught pre-school that was always such an issue when the kids made their own snacks. :scared:

They did stress the hand washing however, you really don't get to eat what you made. Everything comes out of the oven and just put on a plate. I'm not too excited to eat something a bunch of 2nd graders make. I just used the old "I'm on Weight Watchers but thanks anyway".

Works every time! :lmao:

Hi all! Getting ready to go shopping. Actually going to pay for the rest of Disney and buy a camcorder. Airline tickets are paid for :worship: .

Good for you Wendy! It's nice to get things paid for.

The family is talking about doing a Disney cruise in 2009 along with a few nights at WDW. I'm not sure if it's going to work out but there's talk. Talk is good.

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!

Wow Wendy your trip will be here in two months. Time is going to fly my friend.

Susan yes, yes, yes talk about Disney is good. Now use your Travel Agent ways and make that trip happen. :teeth: I wish their were talk of a Disney cruise in my future but sadly their is not. :sad1:

Good morning all

Wendy, 2 months will go by fast and you'll be at WDW before you know it!

Susan, you definetly need to make the cruise trip happen!!:yay: :yay:

:rotfl: Good thinking!

Good Morning Joanne. How's the weather in NY today? We should be in the 60's by lunch but have rain moving in just in time to get the kids off the bus. :headache:

Is it hump day already? They all seem to run together since I've been working from home!

So, Susan (and anyone else who'll admit to watching American Idol!), what'd you think about the guys last night? I thought there were several we can get rid of. I loved the little dreadlocks boy--he has the cutest face and that smile is adorable! Oh, and he can sing! And I like that last guy even though I didn't want to like him. I also like that Danny guy. And I don't really want to. His sassy-ness is going to get old really fast!

I liked him too. I told Mark that he has such a cute face but could use a hair cut. :confused3

Good morning!

I also loved the Dreadlocks Guy (Jason). He was the biggest surprise of the night for me. I am a fan of Michael Johns but I hope he doesn't get too arrogant. I was also impressed with David Cook singing Happy Together. I love that song and I thought he did great. I didn't like Danny at all. He thinks he's much more clever than he is and that bothers me. I also think that Garrett should go. All in all it wasn't a bad night for the men. No Sanjayas!
