Chicken Little

We arrived at 9:30 and got in. Our theater was more than 1/2 full. We loved the movie. It was funny, creative and had something for everybody. We love Kirby and Runt.

It was fun! Our theater had maybe 40 people! :earseek: :earseek:

They gave away microwaveable popcorn.

We had a great time.

St Louis checking in! Our screening was held at the Esquire in Clayton, which needs some new seating desperately! We got there around 9:30 am. Radio Disney was handing out small Chicken Little posters (The End is Near), Halloween bags (It's okay to be a Little Chicken on Halloween), and sour punch candy.

Our theater was not full. They only glanced at my Disney Visa invite. There were several rows of reserved seating that said PRESS on them.

Before the movie, they tried to get two boys, who were with the Radio Disney crew, to sing. I say *try* because they didn't have the correct song for one of the boys. They did a contest, asked for 5 volunteers, and ds was picked! The 5 contestants had to cluck like a chicken and each won a ceramic Chicken Little figurine. Very cute! They also threw 2 stuffed Chicken Littles into the crowd based on which side made the most noise.

Our movie started promptly at 10 am, no previews. We all enjoyed it! The kids (12 and 10) would see it again. So would I! :teeth: We will probably go again before it is released into video. DD got to see the entire film and still leave by 11:20am to make it to her volleyball game at noon.

Thanks Disney Visa!!

We saw the movie yesterday in NC. The theatre wasn't completely full. We did have police officers standing guard at the entrance and they were watching through the movie. I'm guessing it was a concern someone might video tape?

Dh and I thought the movie was cute but dd (3) could have cared less. She was ready to leave before the movie was over (so I guess that's one movie I won't have to buy). The only thing that bothered me was the "If you wanna be my lover" song. Seemed a little strange for a kids movie.

Great to have free tickets though! :earboy2:

Yes, I was thinking the same thing! Did that really need to be in there? And as much of it as they did? I don't need my 4 year old liking that song because she heard it in a Disney moive. As it is I breath a sigh of relief that they are't big with kids any more. (not that my DD would know who they are, she does Disney movies and the like, not spice girls!)

The other "songs" didn't bug me as much. Of course I personally could of done with out the frozen pee lines, but DH thought it was funny. (coming right off the spice girl song I was getting rathe concerned, but they turned it around.) :flower:

Checking in for Grand Rapids MI. We arrived about 9:40 and our theater wasn't even close to full. A pretty decent turn out though. At the desk the girl started to question the printout from my email, but I showed her my Disney Visa card and she printed out tickets.

When we entered we were waved with wands and my bag checked for recording devices. But the movie is a cliffhanger for us since we left with about 25 min remaining in the movie. My DD (3) just couldn't take the noise anymore. Plus it was right at the scene where you know what came out of the sky....and the chicken, pig and duck were scared....I think she was too.

So, I'm glad we didn't pay for it. My DH loved it and really wished we could have seen the ending...but I wasn't about to force my daughter to watch something she didn't want to see. I guess we'll wait for it to come out on video.
