Can anyone actually 100% confirm that Chicken Guy has started accepting the dining plan? I can't find a solid answer anywhere.

Thanks!

Can't help answer your question (although it looks like you got an answer), but I just wanted to say how delicious Chicken Guy was on our recent trip. I honestly was surprised by how tasty the food was given how much of a value it is, and also given that most of Guy's restaurants don't fare too well with reviewers. If you're going, I'd suggest the Sauce Boss sandwich, grilled tenders and the spicy pickles....all were soo good! And good luck picking sauces....we tried 6 or 7 of them and not one of them was bad. Enjoy your meal!!

with all the really great restaurants at DS, just cannot get excited about this one.
Seems like a more expensive version of Chick Fil A.
Convince me otherwise.

Well it is one of the cheaper places to eat at DS along with Earl/Sand ...So that will help those on a budget....PLUS chicken is a easy sell to the kiddies...IF they are anything like mine...she lived on Chicken/Pizza/Mac&Cheese until she was eight! lol....BUT aren't most restaurants at WDW overpriced?
I know for a FACT that Blaze Pizza is more expensive at DS than it is other locations I've eaten at....

Yes, honestly, I have a very picky DH who struggles to try new things and is the opposite of adventurous. So when he ACTUALLY got excited about Chicken Guy opening, I knew we had to take an opportunity on our trip to visit. He doesn't often get excited about food! So while its not the most exciting thing Disney has to offer, if it makes him happy, I'm going to go for it!

Great news! When we went in August they were not on the DDP yet but we tried it anyway and it was great!

Anyone who has been since they started accepting the DDP - are any sides snacks on the DDP?

So we went yesterday and I wasn’t to excited for it either. Normally I can’t eat a lot of chicken tenders but these were AMAZING. They were fresh and the breading was really crunchy and flavorful. I got buffalo sauce and spicy mayo with mine. I never actually got to the buffalo because the spicy mayo was perfect! Plus it was the cheapest place we had eaten the entire trip. I’m still sad about being 949 miles away from Chicken Guy lol

I was there on Sunday and it was great. For 2 of us it was only like $20. The food and sauces were great and it wasn't too crowded. I'm not sure what they put on the fries but it's amazing.

All the different sauces are a unique touch. I also like that its something different than the typical burger fare (D-Lux). We have a Blaze Pizza at home, so that one is always out. Doesn't leave us many QS options that are unique at Disney Springs.

I have a question regarding the tenders themselves... it says they use a pickle brine on them. Do they TASTE like pickles? If so, I won't even bother going here because my kids hate pickles.

I'd be really surprised if they made tenders that had a distinct pickle taste to be honest. But hopefully someone who has been can confirm for sure.

My DGDs won't eat pickles but they LOVE Chick Fil A...where part of their magic ingredient is pickle brine.:)
