"Chicken" Exit Questions

I am taking my Mom to Disney with me in a couple weeks and she isn't a ride person, although I would like her to walk through as much as she can and then exit through the infamous 'chicken' exits. Can someone help me with (1)When to let a CM know we will need the exit, and (2)Where they are for Tower of Terror & Rock 'n' Roller Coaster?

Has anyone ever done this?

I've never done it but need to know for TOT also. I would love to go through the building, but NONE of us are brave enough to actually go on the ride. Ok, maybe I will. But DS7 and DGM won't!! It's the ONLY ride DGM won't ride!! Hope to hear soon!

The Chicken Exit for ToT is just as your loading on to the elevator, there is a regular elevator that takes you down to where riders exit. Just ask CM to exit.

Not sure about R&RRC I rode that one. (but I'm sure it also will be just before your loaded in the limo)

The chicken exit for RNR is after you go through the que, and it's before you go into the car ques. Does this make sense? There is usually a CM at the end of the long que, so just let them know.

The RnRC chicken exit is a door on the left just before the CM asks "how many". It leads to the gift shop which has some cool merchandise. You get to watch the cars launch before you exit and the pre-show with the band is good.

The ToT chicken exit is also last second before you get into the actual ride elevator. You get to see the really good pre-show just like RnRC.

One IMPORTANT note:
A CM will take you out of the ToT by way of a REGULAR elevator. Don't let them scare you, they will try to spook you into thinking you are actually on the ride! Just remember that on the ride, you sit down with a lap restraint, so if you are standing in an elevator, you are NOT on the ride!
My poor sister was petrified until the elevator doors opened and she exited.

Oh my...I could just imagine my mother having a panic attack right in there in that elevator. I will warn her!

Already warned DS7 about it--even though he still doesn't know we're going He's seen me on this website every single night and he said "mommy, why are you always on the computer?" I usually waits until he goes to bed, but inevitably (sp?) he catches me!!! I told him that "when" we get to go back "someday", I want all the info that will make our trip better. So far he's buying it. But sooner or later, I'm afraid that he's going to figure it all out. After all, the Disney hype has been pretty darn high around here lately--trips to TDS, nightly (and more) visits to DIS, mommy wearing ALL her Disney sweatshirts, mommy talking to grandma about all the cool stuff she's found out on the DIS boards . . .I could go on forever

Did I get off the subject??? Sorry, Disney brainfreeze!!!!!!

when i was younger and wanted to skip over that ride i remember asking the CM if it was a real elevator and he pushed the button and in an ominous tone said... well lets find out... and let out a little spooky laugh...

just a little memory that makes me smile
