DS is not tall enough for RNRC, but can he walk through the ride queue with us? Is there a chicken exit for DH to take him out when I get on the ride with DD? Will they let us do this?

There is one right before you get one the ride.

You wait inline outside.
Then go through "G-Force Records"
Then you see the pre-show with Aerosmith.
Then you go into the alley.
And right before you get in the little lines to get in the car there is a door, just ask the CM working there.

:)

As for letting him walk through with you, they probably will if you let them know that he wont be riding and if someone is up there checking the height (they might think that you are just trying to sneak him on :confused3 )

We were on it last week and just as this young (about 17?) girl was going to step onto the ride (her friends were literally dragging her on), she burst into tears. She was shaking and said she couldn't do it, so her friends got on and left her, the cm escorted her to an exit. I felt so bad for her, she was so afraid. I wonder if she's still speaking to her "friends?"

But my point is, there is an exit door right where you board the ride, as StephaBabe50 posted.

Tell then you want to "child swap" that's the term they use.

Oh, DH doesn't want to ride either. He just wants to see the pre-show, so we thought if DS could go through until the chicken exit, they could at least see most of the ride queue without having to go on the roller coaster itself.

No - they won't let a child who dosen't meet the height restriction any where inside the building, in my experience Feb 05....

My dd 10 is over the height restriction and wanted to ride RNRC but she wasn't comfortable going through the queue alone. My 8yo was not tall enough and didn't want to ride so I just wanted us to accompany the 10yo through the line so she could ride and then take the chicken exit with my 8yo to meet my 10y at the exit. No way no how was this happening, they absolutely would not let a child not tall enough to ride the atraction inside the building.

My 10yo had no problem riding alone but didn't want to spend all that time in line alone (even with fp) so we passed. Luckily my 8yo is now tall enough so we will all ride in October.

Sorry I couldn't give better news and have a great trip.

Honestly, that's what I was thinking. It's not a problem - DH just wanted to see the pre-show. They can just wait outside though. Doesn't really alter our plans any. Thanks!
