Anyone use the chicken exit at Exp. Everest yet? Looks like I won't be able to ride on our trip in January, but I was hoping to at least get a gander all the details and theming of the queue with DH. Is it located in an area that lets you see most of it?

I'm curious too, as DSalmost12 has some anxiety issues, and may want to skip it. I like to let him have the option of trying, but was wondering what the process would be if he chose to bail.

Any guest can choose not to ride any attraction at WDW and exit before loading.

This goes for a ride like Dumbo, all the way up to Soarin', ToT, RnR, and EE.

No hassles, no problems.

At ToT, do they still take all the "chickens" down a real elevator right near the ride elevators? This totally freaked my DD's years ago when they didn't want to ride and thought we were tricking them onto the ride!

:rotfl2: Yes they do :rotfl:

After riding EE once, I didn't wanna do it again, but I wanted to stand in line with DH again. Just tell a CM you aren't riding right before they board the ride, and they will take you out an exit behind the train.
