Does anyone have a Chicco stroller? If so, do you like this stroller? I am trying to decide which umbrella stroller to buy for our trip in October. The stroller I have now
(Graco) is too big to bring to WDW.

When my dd was younger we had a Chicco Caddy. There are newer models now.

We loved it BUT they have a low weight limit (like 35 or 37 lbs), so I would try to buy a Maclaren (55) instead of needing to buy yet another stroller for next trip.

We just got the Chicco C5 to take on our trip, tomorrow (Wheeeeee!) Anyway, it is GREAT so far. It is super tall so even my Dh who is 6'5" can push it with no problems. It has a fairly large basket we can fit our small diaper bag in it and the recline part is really smooth and easy to do. It also comes with a rain shield. The sun canopy isn't the greatest though, that is my only complaint.

We have the C5 also. We bought it at the beginning of Summer and it is great! My cousin and I took my son to the Butterfly Gardens in Indy. My stroller wouldn't fit in the trunk of her lil' Saturn so westopped at Babies r us and let my 2.5 yr old DS try all of them out. His favorite was the C5. My husbband is 6'1 and he loves that he doesn't have to slump over to push it and that he doesn't kick the bottom of it like most strollers with his size 13 feet. Personally we think that it LOOKS better than the Maclarens. They are nice also, however. We have taken ours to the State Fair, the Zoo, The Gardens, and on quite a few brisk 4 to 5 mile walks on walking trails. It is gonna be great at WDW!

we have a C5 as well. It's been great too. Tall handles for DH and I and our tall kids fit well in it too (our oldest is now too tall for it but our youngest was about 44" on the last trip (at 3 1/2) and he fit in it just fine. Pushes well too.

I had a Caddy and at first loved it. However, after more than an hour of pushing it I really began to hate it. Im 5'10" and I had to hunch over or push with my fingers as it was too short for me. I passed it off to a shorter friend and got a Mac Quest. I needed something that could handle an older child and its good to 55 lbs. I love it and have used it with #2.

I went to Babies R Us and tried the C5 and I really liked it. Nice stroller for me since I am tall. I noticed the Mac Quest is lighter and it goes up to 55 lbs., so I bought that one. I am not sure if I can find a cup holder attachment to fit is my only complaint.

Vacation4me-have you seen the Maclaren Universal Organizer? I got one online and it works well. It attaches to the handles, has a small mesh bag and then on both sides a neoprene cup holder. Now when there are cups in it, they tend to lean back a bit but it doesnt bother me. You also need to watch how much you load in it or it can cause the stroller to tip when the child isnt in it. I solve this by adding one or two 3 lbs ankle weights to the front wheels.

We needed an umbrella stroller for our trip to WDW and we liked the height of the handles on the Chicco C5 but the model we tested out at Babies R Us seemed to have broken or bent bars at the back so that it was like a "c" shape. We looked at a lot of customer reviews and lots of people commented on these bars bending and ending up like that. We are both fairly tall so needed something with tall handles. We ended up with the Graco Mosaic which we love. We had seen it at Target and had a Target gift card so ended up paying very little for it. It is a bit heavier than MacClarens but that didn't bother us and the price was right! We now use this as our main stroller for our DS2.

We have a Chicco ( I believe Velocita) double stroller that we bought last year for Disney. We really like it. I wish the wheels were bigger - they have typical stroller wheels - but it turns nicely and is easy to push. I find it relatively easy to open and close (now that I got the hang of it). The seats recline which is nice for a mid-day nap and it came with hoods and a rain cover. It feels pretty heavy but when we were shopping for double umbrella strollers, it's weight was comparable to other similar strollers.

We have a C5 and love it. Both DH & I are well over 6ft tall, and we're both very comfortable with it. DD is just under 42" tall at 2.5, and she loves it as well. Very easy in and out for her.

we have a Chicco caddy that is a couple of yrs old and a Maclaren Triumph that we got a few months ago. It's like night and day -- love the Maclaren, can barely tolerate the Chicco. The Chicco is more your standard-type umbrella stroller. I am 5'7" and find it is not comfy for me to push. The Maclaren pushes super easily (you can even do it one-handed), folds in about 1 second, and seems more comfortable for both my daughters and myself. I got a brand new stroller online that was last years model (the store, I think it was ALbee Baby, assured me the *only* difference was the color combo, and I actually liked these colors better!) for about 40 or 50 dollars less than Babies 'R Us, making it a little closer in price to the Chicco.
