I'm definitely in! June 15th is the only date that would definitely not work...

But sounds like everyone is going for June 22nd, which works for me & Dbf. We are only 15 minutes from Woodfield.

I might be able to swing June 22 at Woodfield, but the wife will think I'm completely insane going to meet people off the intrawebbercharcoalgrill.

However, if that is too soon, don't do it the first two weekend in July, as you have the 4th of July weekend, plus the weekend after that you have NASCAR coming to Joliet.

I be coming from the Beloit, WI area.

And if you need any help, just ask me. I have often thought that doing a Magic Meets Midwest would be fun to put on.

Ohhhh yeah, if we do Woodfield, perhaps we can get the DVC vendor inside the mall to give us free beer..... or snacks if they don't trust us.

I think we have settled on June 22. An early post suggested meeting at the Disney Vacation Club store in the mall, and then going to lunch at Giordonos.

I'm good with this, what time should we meet? I would be glad to contact Disney & Giordonos to make reservations.

What time should we meet? How long should we stay at the mall/Disney?

We'll take a head count after we figure this info out.

If anyone else has other questions/comments/issues, please let me know?

eh, I found out that it is the whitesox game... tickets are gonna be hard to come by, unless anyone knows where there might be resonably priced tix that are not in the sun?

Is the OP out there? I'd hate to pick a date that doesn't work for the person who presented the idea!

Geef- thanks for offering to make the reservations. I don't think we have a Giordano's in the area anymore. There's an Uno's right outside the mall and a Gino's near by on Golf Rd.

As far as time - how does this sound. We can meet at the DVC Doorway to Dreams store between 12:30 and 1. Then have a late lunch at 2 or 2:30?

I figure that gives people from out of town plenty of time to make their way to the mall, tour the Animal Kingdom Villas if they haven't seen them yet, then we can head to the restaurant and we won't be arriving right at the lunch rush. (Those of you in the Schaumburg area know how crazy the restaurants can get here on the weekends!)

What do you all think? Good time, too early, too late?

Late lunch sounds good to me... I have a girlfrield who works at that DVC, I just sent her a note seeing if she's working that day or wants to join us... I'll let you know when I hear from her...

I work across the street from the mall so I'll pop in there today and talk to the people at the DVC. I don't think the Disney Store will care since this is one of the busiest malls inthe country with tour buses of shoppers arriving every day. Do you want me to take the head count? If so, everyone can PM me and let me know how many are coming. I'm definitely coming but I'm going to be really busy that week before. (Ebay convention in Chicago!) So let's try to get a good idea of how many people are coming in the next week or so!
