chicago to do?

This is going to sound really stupid but I want to go see where my father grew up (he passed when I was young.) He lived on west dankin st in the potage park neighborhood. I would like to know what’s around that area to see. I’m planning on going to the zoo and aquarium so what else is there to see? It will be two almost 30 something females and my bff’s 33 year old husband.

Oh husbands obsessed with nascar, she loves medicine and fire stuff, and I love police things

Texas de Brazil is a very nice restaurant. And I'm struggling to remember the name of a pizza joint on the corner of the same st as Texas de Brazil but they also have great food.

there is a pass you can buy that will get you into alot of the stuff you want to do, google Chicago Pass- can't think of what it is called. Gino's East is a popular pizza place, we like Heaven on 7 Cajun Food, Weber Grill is good. Navy Pier is fun.

Great topic! DW and I are going to Chicago for a day and half in early November before we see our DD graduate from Boot Camp (hooray!). We've never been and we're looking for the must-dos: tours, entertainment, food, etc.

So how hard is it to get around chicago without a car? Were planning on taking the train from our hotel in kenosha

I just returned from a weekend in Chicago! We took the train to Union station and then took cabs to get around the city. Our favorite spot for pizza is Gordianos. Also, Gerritts popcorn is to die for.
