Anybody have any suggestions for a hotel that offers this. I live about 2 1/2 hours from Midway airport and have a 10am flight so I would rather go up the night before instead of chancing being caught in the Chicago morning traffic. Plus airport parking has gone up to $14/day and I wil be gone 7-8 days so I figure it will probably be a little cheaper to go up early and find a hotel that offers this and not have to worry about getting up at the crack of dawn.

We fly out of Hartford, CT and have used parksleepfly.com to get some of the best rates. Most of the hotels include free parking for 2 weeks, shuttles to and from airport, and breakfast in the morning. We have tried several of the different hotels and have never had a problem. It is so stress free in the morning when we leave and when we come home, the shuttle brings us right to our car.

There are a bunch of hotels: Holiday Inn Express, Hampton, etc. They run a shuttle which is nice. Be careful though, it seems that some of the hotels charge for parking. The best rate I found was at HI express...they had a rate which included parking(some kind of special). It also had queen beds(most had 2 fulls).

Ya know, if someone would leave Peoria at the same time as you, would beat you there, save airfare and a hotel stay...

hey, that http://buyreservations.com link you posted has potential for us

anyone use it? how about anyone use it flying out of MCI(kansas city)

was looking at the econolodge they have listed

any problems getting too/from the airport?

I live in the Chicago burbs and I would be a little leary of leaving my car in an unsecured lot around Midway airport for a week. I would feel safer using the hotels in Willowbrook and Burr Ridge.

I use them all the time ... it is great... your car is safe at the hotel....rather than the airport...

Also if you call the hotel directly ... some time some time... you might get it cheaper...

Agree... lived on the south side of Chicago for 7 years and would NOT leave my car in an unsecured lot around MDW for any length of time. Airport lots are probably o.k. as they have 24 hr. security and locked gates.

Are your from Chicago? I have lived in the Chicao burbs all my life and would never park a car at one of those hotels on Cicero Ave. around Midway unless the parking lot was secure and looking at those hotel descriptions, the lots are not secure.
Maybe around other airports, it is okay to use a hotel sleep, park and fly in the immediate vicinity of the airport - but I would stick to the Burr Ridge, Willowbrook hotels for Midway.

I have tried buyreservations as well and they are a great website..The company is excellent and i didnt have any problems at all with my parking situation. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on S. Cicero ave, They allowed two weeks of parking, a shuttle that ran @ the clock and were two blocks away from the airport.

We have 2x stayed at this hotel group. http://www.midwayhotelcenter.com/
We walk over to TGI Fridays for dinner, but anyway. I wouldnt leave my car here, we sleep here b/c we are coming from MI and then park at the Midway Park, Fly, Ride around the corner from the airport.

The Hampton was a normal hampton and the other I think we did the Fairfield. We had no issues the 3 times we used Park, Fly and Ride lots at Midway. I just wouldnt leave it at a hotel there to save a few bucks.
